Is there anyone who has (successfully) implemented a method of on-access virusscanning of files on a samba share? For Linux, I only know of Sophos and McAfee virusscanners but neither of them can scan files as they are written or read. Is there possibly a hook of some sort in samba for this? Hello, I want to ask if CentOS will support P3Scan (http://p3scan.sourceforge.net/) as RPM delivered with the distribution? For explanation: P3Scan is an transparent mailproxy. It uses ClamAV and SpamAssassin to distinguish between Spam- Virus- and normal Mail. Its more usefull to get an update via the repos instead of compiling it by myself.
