Hi,
I'm trying to use dsync to convert sdbox + sis mailboxes to mbox (mbox
is chosen here to "re-attach" the attachments to their original place)

SIGBART/SIGSEGV while SELECTing virtual folder
Hello!
I just installed Dovecot's latest nightly build (20081020) and tried the
virtual folder features. I started with a really simple "all" folder:
| # virtual/all
| *
| all
But selecting this folder causes dovecot to panic (in most cases).
While trying to debug this, I got slightly different results and I am
not really sure yet if this is just non-deterministic, depends on

Hi Timo,
are the latest 'Auth-Changes' supposed to be complete? They break 'alias at domain.tld' logins for me.

dovecot 2.0beta3 installation
Hello,
I tried to install dovecot 2.0 beta3 and deliver seems to look for its
config file in unusual places.
In my exim logs, I get:

Dovecot 2.0beta3: Auth master process is now running as default_internal_user
Hi,
with 'changeset 10910' the Auth master process is running as 'default_internal_user' now (dovecot). This requires permissions tuning for 'passwd-files' at least, while other plugins would run in a different user context, 'vmail' in my setup. I see that this may be safer, just wondering how to streamline the config:

Can't connect to shares w/2.0beta3 on OSF1
I was running 1.9.18p10 on a test DEC Unix 4.0d box here and I decided to
give 2.0beta3 a try. For some reason, I cannot connect to any of the server's
shares or even get a list of it's services (via Start->Run->\\server) from Win95
clients.
It asks for a password and no matter what I put in there I get "The
password is not correct. Try again."

mail_log plugin logs UTF-8 mailbox name
A small bug in the mail_log plugin:
When I copy a mail from the inbox to a mailbox with special characters,
the mailbox name is logged in UTF-8:
[...] copy from INBOX: box=INBOX.Euro ?, [...]
I guess the name should be in mUTF-7, like it is done when I copy the
other way round:
[...] copy from Euro &IKw-: box=INBOX, [...]

Hi Timo -
I saw this addition and it sounds very useful in our enviroment. Can
the plugin be enabled for specific users? Or is is a system-wide
only plugin?

mail_log plugin, log throttling and killing of the IMAP child.
Hi,
Just a quick check, was wondering if anyone is experiencing problems
mass deleting/purging mails from a folder?
I am on RC19 with the mail_log plugin enabled. Quite often, when a mass
deletion/purge is attempted, we receive the following message in the
dovecot logs:

mail_log plugin
Hello all,
Is there any way to add additional options for the mail_log plugin?
Specifically, I'm wanting to make it so IMAP copy commands will show the
source filename and/or the user's IP address. Is this possible? If
there are docs for this info, feel free to point me to it.
