Using special characters
Dear R users
I'm having problems in putting special characters (like 佱, 併, 佺 ) in my plots, as much in titles, as in axis names, as in legend...when I save them as a pdf document. They don't appear...
I don't know if it is because I'm using a linux platform...
The script is the following:

Compressed maildir
Greetings,
I noticed a while back someone posted a patch/plugin that allowed Dovecot to
use compressed mbox files. I'm now wondering how far that would put us from
having compressed maildir? I have a server with more CPU than disk space, and
while I can buy more HDD space, my backup solution doesn't make that practical.
It seems to me that when looking for a message file, if it

zlib plugin producing errors on 2.3.0
Hello,
I use the zlib and imap_zlib plugins on FreeBSD. As of 2.3.0, my logs
are producing these errors every so often, but AFAICT the messages
themselves aren't getting corrupted.

Proper XML for compareCPU method
All -
What is the proper XML to supply to the Python Connections compareCPU
method? I have looked at the cpu_map.xml file and I believe I have the
proper XML configured but the method always throws an exception with a
missing CPU architecture error. Here is the code.
from __future__ import print_function

import libvirt
conn = libvirt.open('qemu:///system')

OOM in Dovecot 2.2.13 imap
Hi,
we run Dovecot 2.2.13 on Debian Wheezy with a couple thousand mailboxes.
We have two users that repeatedly trigger an OOM condition with IMAP.

R-beta: Printing documentation for R and all packages installed
Dear R gurus and users,
in order to provide the local users of R with a printed copy of the
ample documentation provided with R and the optional packages
installed, I have introduced a minor change to the
R/doc/manual/Makefile.
Using GNU find, GNU sed, and features of GNU make, the LaTeX
documentation found in the subdiretories of .../R/library/ is copied
to .../R/doc/manual, and appropriate

zlib plugin aborts without zlib_save
This is in follow-up to
https://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2017-December/110443.html
I had mail_plugins = "zlib", but zlib_save wasn't set (my mailboxes were
not compressed).
It seems that when the zlib plugin is enabled, but zlib_save isn't set, the
zlib plugin aborts on a regular basis---on a single-user system, I was
seeing it about 150 times a day.

A view quirks
Aloha Timo.
I found a few odd things while playing with dovecot. At least
one of them bugs me, but it might be a result of my own
patches - I haven't testet it with mbox or maildir, yet.
The details :)

1.0alpha1: stack frame core
Hi,
Today's core dump from 1.0alpha1 came from a syslog
message of:
IMAP(user): pool_data_stack_realloc(): stack frame changed
gdb info on the resulting core dump attached.
Question: how many people are building/using dovecot
1.0alpha1 with gcc 4.0.1 versus gcc 3.4.x? I am wondering
if these issues come from the compiler instead of dovecot
itself?
