Pigeon Sieve, redirect action and SPF
Since I've upgraded to dovecot 2.0.13 + Pigeonhole 0.2.3 (Gentoo package) I've received a few complains of users about rejected messages. Investigating the problem, I've seen that when the external sender server publishes SPF information, when some message is sent from there to one of my users that has a Sieve redirect action active to another external system (that does SPF

This kind of weirdness can happen when Pigeonhole was compiled against a different version of Dovecot. You could compile Pigeonhole manually as well to make sure, which also gives you the opportunity to

Struggling with sieve, fileinto and variables.
Thanks for that. Turns out it was an issue with exim stripping the local part suffix from the envelope before passing over lmtp to dovecot. Fixed in the exim router config! Although if you turn on trace with spamtest it does result in a crash during mail receipt: lmtp(test at test.net)<7988><cDK3ADztDls0HwAANIsFaQ>: Panic: Unsupported 0x30 specifier starting at #38 in 'extracted

panic when doveadm sieve put between multiple hosts
Dovecot version: 2.2.25 (7be1766) I?m looking into an issue we?re having with a new setup. We have one fronted host with two backend hosts, and we?re attempting to use doveadm to allow us to administer sieve on the frontend and have it replicated to the backend hosts. Problem rebuilding Centos 5/6 pigeonhole RPM from mercurial version
Hi Stephan, I'm traying to rebuild the RH (Centos) EL5 and EL6 RPM with the last mercurial pigeonhole 0.4.2 version, but I'm having problems with the build. I think that I've isolated the problem outside rpmbuild context. I've downloaded dovecot and pigeonhole mercurial versions and built dovecot with the commands: dovecot-2.2.10$ ./autogen.sh dovecot-2.2.10$ ./configure

pkgsrc-ing sieve and managesieve
I'm trying to integrate both the new sieve implementation and managesieve into pkgsrc. Managesieve seems to need some dovecot libraries that dovecot doesn't install (lib-storage/libstorage.a, lib-auth/libauth.a, lib-imap/libimap.a, lib-index/libindex.a, lib-mail/libmail.a, lib-charset/libcharset.a, lib-dict/libdict.a and lib-charset/libcharset.a). There seems to be no provision in pkgsrc
