Adobe Photoshop uses wrong permissions when saving
That doesn't help my version of the problem, though. My create mask is 701, but Photoshop is creating files with permissions 777. -----Original Message----- From: Tim Allen [mailto:timallen@ls82.fsnet.co.uk] Sent: Friday, December 07, 2001 7:28 AM To: samba@lists.samba.org Subject: Re: Adobe Photoshop uses wrong permissions when saving What is force create mode set to? WARNING: . . . .failed verification -- update discarded (will try again).
A nightly scripted rsync backup job is giving me this error WARNING: vm/escDebLenny14G-flat.vmdk failed verification -- update discarded (will try again). I've searched the web and I think probably the problem is the source file changed during the copy. However, I haven't seen any explanations for the "will try again" part. Does it try again immediately? If so, does a

Problems streaming just one file, yet /default works fine.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, We are needing to use icecast to stream a single mp3 _from_the_beginning_ of the file. Using Icecast and Shout, everything works fine, the problem with that is that when you conenct to /default you start listening at whatever point shout is currently playing at. This is not satisfactory at all, the stream must start at the beginning of the

1.1.6 -> 1.1.7 regression: dovecot: pipe() failed: Too many open files
Hi all, We updated to 1.1.7 a week or two back from 1.1.6 (both standard atrpms builds). Since doing so, twice now I've seen the imap services accept connections but they hang before the banner is printed (pop seems to be unaffected). I see this in the logs: Dec 23 14:02:15 mail9 dovecot: pipe() failed: Too many open files Dec 23 14:02:15 mail9 dovecot: Temporary failure in creating login

I'm encountering lots of Oct 31 11:14:25 postamt dovecot: pipe() failed: Too many open files errors around midday ever since the latest upgrade to 1.0.7. imap-login: Fatal: pipe() failed: Too many open files
Hi I keep on getting errors and can't connect/login to Dovecot. I did my research but unfortunately without success. It is for sure not ulimit because ulimit is set to unlimited per default already. Still , it complains about "Too many open files" but this is a test system and the service dovecot and postfix have just been started. No one except me is testing on this system.
