Help setting up multipathing on CentOS 4.7 to an Equallogic iSCSI target
I'm trying to test out an Equallogic PS5500 with a server running CentOS 4.7
I can create a volume and mount it fine using the standard
iscsi-initiator-utils tools.
The Equallogic box has 3 Gigabit interfaces and I would like to try to
set up things so I can read/write from/to the volume using multiple NICs
on the server i.e. get 200+ Mbyte/s access to the volume - I've had some

Xen and CUDA Virtualization
Hello,
I am new to Xen and I have class project to develop in Virtualization course. One of these projects in about nVidia CUDA Virtualization.
As far as I understand from the architecuture of Xen, for virtualizing CUDA on Xen, I will have to prepare a back-end (for Dom 0) and front-end (for Dom U) drivers for CUDA. Is this right?
Also, from where can we get the source code of latest nVidia

RC10 errors
I just installed a limited test of RC10 last night. So far, all is great
except for errors being logged for one user (out of about 150 users total).
This one user has not yet complained or anything, but the log file has
repeated
entries of the following format for him (host and username changed to protect
the guilty/innocent):

Question about "slow" storage but fast cpus, plenty of ram and dovecot
Hello
We are using dovecot 1.2.x. In our setup we will have 1200
concurrent imap users (maildirs) and we have 2xraid5 sas 15k diks
mounted by iSCSI. The dovecot server (RHEL 5 x64) is
a virtual machine
in our vmware esx cluster. We want to minimize disk I/O, what config
options should we use. We can "exchange" CPU & RAM to minimize disk i/o.
Should we change to dovecot 2.0?

trouble with xenserver and xfs (soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 61s!)
Hi everybody,
i hope that i'm on the right mailing list. I'm having some trouble with
xfs and xen. We are running the newest xenserver version with ha on dell
servers and a dell equalogic.
I set up a fileserver (debian lenny 2.6.29-xs5.5.0.17) with one ext3
partiton for the os and one xfs partition for the data. Two webserver
are using this fileserver with nfs.
Now i run the second

Conga problems
Hi all,
I've spent the past little while attempting to setup Conga on a two node
CentOS 6 cluster. While I do have the cluster up and running, I'm
running into problems attempting to start services through luci on
either node.
A little background information:
-Both nodes have dual NICs, one interface on each node will be used for
the WAN, the other is a private gigabit crossover

Is it stable for dovecot 2.2.27 to implement DRBD (or HAST) on block level
for maildir data replication instead of using dsync plugin?

Question about ACL/flags
Okay, I'm cruising the wiki, and it is at best confusing to me. Maybe
someone on the list can help me out quickly?
Here is what I have:
dovecot 1.1.18, mbox format, currently no acl/namespace/etc. All works great.
What I want to be able to do:
Have an email account (or folder or mailbox) which can be accessed by
several people (say 3) with per-user seen flags. That is, say 3 people

Zfs best practice for 2U SATA iSCSI NAS
Is there a best practice guide for using zfs as a basic rackable small
storage solution?
I''m considering zfs with a 2U 12 disk Xeon based server system vs
something like a second hand FAS250.
Target enviroment is mixature of Xen or VI hosts via iSCSI and nfs/cifs.
Being able to take snapshots of running (or maybe paused) xen iscsi
vols and re-export then for cloning and remote backup

scalability
Hi Folks,
How scalable is dovecot. Do you think a machine with a dual core 2.8Ghz
processor and 2GB of RAM would do a business with 600 users? This server
will have a 100Mbps link to the net, however it will be access by the
business using a couple of ADSL lines (Roughly 7Mbps each).
This machine will also be running Postfix
Your help is appreciated
Cheers

Best filesystem?
Hi everyone! What's the best filesystem to use for the mail spool? I'm
debating between Debian with xfs or FreeBSD with zfs. I'm not sure which
way to go. I'm migrating from cyrus. I have about 50 users so it's not a
large setup.
Cheers!

Email client dowloads previously read messages as new during migration.
I am migrating from UW to dovecot and using mbox. I have been able to find
mbox to maildir migration information and tools; however, I have had little
luck finding any tool or information for performing such a migration where I
wish to keep mbox. ( I know I should migrate to MailDir, but in the case I
wish to take baby steps.)
I have setup dovecot pop3 communication and I go to my email client
