Tilde expansion in ManageSieve for dovecot-1.1.
Greetings all,
I'll skip the details of the setup, except to say that it has a
non-standard (and non-templateable) home directory path for virtual
users. Ran into the following problem when a debian (possibly from
backports) packaged dovecot-1.1.2 was upgraded to a
dovecot-1.1.13-2~bpo50+1 (definately from backports):
sieve-storage: root directory specified by mail data does not exist:

Managesieve and Dovecot from ATRPM - Still no luck
Hi list
I'm still trying to get managesieve running on centos x64 with the
packages from atrpm. I used the 1.2.9 rpms (also rebuilt with the
lastet managesieve patches) but I'm always getting the same error when
trying to compile managesieve:
./configure --with-dovecot=/usr/lib64/dovecot/
--with-dovecot-sieve=/work/dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.14
(no errors)
make
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.

2.1.12 - Pigeonhole 0.3.3 build failed: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lssl -lcrypto
Hello list,
Although timos bugfix release this morning I can't build pigeonhole 0.3.3 for
dovecot 2.1.12 successfully. I don't know if it is a new bug or if I do
something wrong but with dovecot 2.1.10 all worked fine, with the same configure
options.

ManageSieve v0.10.0 released for Dovecot 1.1.beta15
Hello Dovecot users,
I finally managed to upgrade the ManageSieve implementation to
dovecot-1.1. This also resulted in major restructuring of the code. The
actual ManageSieve implementation is now available as a separate package
and the patch now only contains the changes to the dovecot-1.1 tree that
are necessary to use the ManageSieve service. The patch and the new
package no longer

MANAGESIEVE patch v7 for dovecot 1.0.3
Hello dovecot users,
I have updated the MANAGESIEVE patch to fix a recently reported problem.
This is a patch against the latest stable release 1.0.3. It currently
won't compile with 1.1 due to significant changes in the master code.
Change Log V7

- Robin Breathe indicated that the regex capability was missing in the

Mercurial repositories for ManageSieve and Sieve
Hello Dovecot users,
Recently I was asked to use Mercurial for the ManageSieve development
just like Dovecot. As a matter of fact I have been using Mercurial for
some time now. Now that I am back from a short and active vacation I am
ready to publish my repositories. The repositories are publicly
available at:
http://hg.rename-it.nl/
The -patch repositories are so-called Mercurial Queues (MQ)

building dovecot-sieve against installed dovecot
Hi Timo,
may I request once more to consider the attached patch for dovecot
1.1, it enables the sieve plugin (incl. sievec and sieved, needed
for pysieved) to be built against an installed dovecot package, if
--enable-header-install additionally installs the liblib.a library
in the same directory as dovecot-config.
I have included this patch in the pkgsrc dovecot 1.1 package a while
ago.

Problem Compiling Dovecot-LDA
I'm trying to setup Dovecot-LDA. I grab dovecot beta8 and compiled it
with the following options.
$ ./configure --without-deliver --with-mysql
$ make
# make install
It builds fine, and I have it running fine now.
I then tried to build dovecot-lda from cvs, with the following.
$ ./configure --with-dovecot=../dovecot-1.0.beta8/
$ make
and it then fails with the following
gcc -std=gnu99 -g

Hi,
when I try to compile dovecot-1.2-sieve-0.1.3 on my NAS I get the error below and I have no idea why and who to fix this.
I have a Qnap TS239pro NAS with a Intel Atom CPU running Linux.
I installed and configured the ipkg dovecot packet (1.2.beta1).
Getting mails via fetchmail and send them with deliver to the IMAP.

LDA sieve library
Hello,
is the LDA linked against the Cyrus SIEVE library or against the fork at
libsieve.sourceforge.net ? It seems Cyrus SIEVE from src/libsieve/README
in the lda sources.
libsieve seems to be better suited for inclusion in non-cyrus software
and should be completely independent from libcyrus. The README for cyrus
version of libsieve also states that:
"It should compile without libcyrus,

MANAGESIEVE patch v2
Hello Timo,
Dispite the heat out here, I managed to come up with a new version of
the managesieve patch for dovecot-1.0rc2:
- Fixed the bug (missing CRLF) in the authenticate command
- Modified the sieve storage library making the interface much less crude.
- The scripts put on the server using the putscript command are now
checked before they are accepted.
- The reported SIEVE capability is
