Inconsistent handling of CRLF in APPEND
One of the recent 1.0 commits relating to CRLF handling (maybe 2006-06-24) has changed the behaviour of APPEND when using mbox files with ordinary plain text emails. When a client stores a new message using an APPEND command (eg. saving a draft or copy of a sent message), it uses CRLF consistently as a line-ending throughout the literal data block over the wire - both for the header and the

Removing Duplicates
Hi all, I am starting fresh with a local repository of mails, which almost certainly have duplicates in them. I am going to use maildirs, and ensure all mails are input with CRLFs. The question is: does anybody know how I can find and remove duplicates, either while injecting mail with IMAP, or afterward? I can use tools to find duplicate Message-IDs, but don't know of a way to remove

How many CRLFs between header and body?
Just ran into a problem[1]. It seems to have been introduced by changeset 224 [2], a fix for ticket 126 [3]. The root is the number of CRLFs Camping puts between the headers and the body of the response. This has changed at least 3 times; right now we''re back to 1. (ie. every header ends in a CRLF, and then there''s the body) The HTTP RFC[4], the CGI spec[5] and the FastCGI

removing visible journal.dat
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I created all my ext3 partitions a while back, so the journal.dat file is visable. I'd like to remove them and use the new tune2fs functionality. Can I just mount the drives as ext2, rm journal.dat, tune2fs -j /dev/hd?? and then remount as ext3? Or am I missing something? thanks! - -- Douglas J. Hunley (Linux User #174778)

Sharing a Win-XP(pro) USB printer :(
Hello Family, I'm having a hell of a time just trying to "see" the shared printer on a Win-XP(pro) box here at home. All my other Windows boxes can not only see it but print to it, my Unix family (all of the relatives) of machines are having no luck. I apologize if this is something simple for Samba has evolved so much that one barely needs to do anything to get stuff working for

Problem in mbox-sync.c
We've just cut over to a new mail server running Dovecot 1.0.5. The underlying OS is RHEL 5. User mailboxes are stored in Unix mbox format on a local ext3 file system. The MTA on the system is the default RedHat version of Sendmail 8.13.8 with procmail for local delivery. We're using a combination of dotlock and fcntl style locking. The output of "dovecot -n" for this system

snapdir visable recursively throughout a dataset
Is there an existing RFE for, what I''ll wrongly call, "recursively visable snapshots"? That is, .zfs in directories other than the dataset root. Frankly, I don''t need it available in all directories, although it''d be nice, but I do have a need for making it visiable 1 dir down from the dataset root. The problem is that while ZFS and Zones work smoothly

y-axis of lattice panels not printing to paper
Greetings, I am printing lattice plots from the R-interface to a printer, and although the y-axes of the left-most panels are visable on the screen, they are not present on the paper when there are multiple panels (ie, >1). For example: trellis.device(bg='white') histogram(~dbh, data=diameter.df) ###print to a printer from the R-interface by clicking the print button on the

Problems with Histogram
Hello Currently i'm working on a paper for my study and, on advice of my tutor, i'm using R. But now i'm stuck on something. I've used the bootstrap method to determine if a found value was significant. Lets say this found value is x, the collection of random samples is y (n=1e+06) I've compared x to y and found that x is smaller then 963482 samples of y (so p=0.037) I

1.0 roadmap
I've read about one month back this list's messages. I've still 216 messages from this year marked as "unread" which I should look into more (+258 older ones). Also I've 180 "unread" messages in my INBOX also which might contain something useful. So those messages could still contain something that should be added to this list. Anyway looking at my current

6 node cluster with unexplained reboots
We just installed a new cluster with 6 HP DL380g5, dual single port Qlogic 24xx HBAs connected via two HP 4/16 Storageworks switches to a 3Par S400. We are using the 3Par recommended config for the Qlogic driver and device-mapper-multipath giving us 4 paths to the SAN. We do see some SCSI errors where DM-MP is failing a path after get a 0x2000 error from the SAN controller, but the path gets puts
