Address Extensions with System Users
I am using Dovecot 1.2RC2 with Postfix 2.5.5. Everything is running fine.
I would like to start using address extensions and have e-mail
automatically filtered into folders based on the folder name after the "+"
in the e-mail address. I only use system users, no virtual users. I have
Deliver configured in main.cf as:
mailbox_command = /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/deliver

Upgrade 1.0->1.2 dbox mysql
Hi,
I just upgraded to from dovecot v1.1.15 to v1.2.9 so I can use dovecot-
sieve.
Most everything seems to work but my webmail (roundcube) clients are
not seeing their subscribed folders.
Reading over the upgrade docs at http://wiki.dovecot.org/Upgrading/1.2
I'm wondering if I have the two settings below configured correctly.

Outlook 2010 Delayed Emails
dovecot --version = 1.2.11
dovecot -n: http://pastebin.com/ahCpdC0F
I have a user that has no problem viewing email from roundcube (webmail)
but Outlook 2010 doesn't seem to download random messages for a day or
two, then they suddently show up. I saw the wiki had some suggestions
for older versions of Outlook to fix other problems, but I didn't really
see anything like this. Any help

v1.1.alpha4 released / about dbox
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.1/alpha/dovecot-1.1.alpha4.tar.gz
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.1/alpha/dovecot-1.1.alpha4.tar.gz.sig
Lots of fixes since alpha3. Also includes the dbox rewrite. Currently
dbox works properly only in one-message-per-file mode. I'm not actually
even sure how good idea it would be to use it with
multiple-messages-per-file mode. But I guess it won't hurt to

Corrupted Index Cache
I am starting to use Squirrelmail a little bit more to read my mail during
the day and I seem to be getting this error more frequently while using
Squirrelmail. Just a coincidence or do you think using Squirrelmail might
have something to do with it?

Released Sieve v0.1.7 and ManageSieve v0.11.6 for Dovecot v1.2.0
Hello Dovecot users,
I hereby release new versions of the Sieve packages for the recently
released Dovecot v1.2.0 (Congrats Timo!). Apart from small changes to
make things compile with Dovecot again, a few other bugs were fixed as
well.
Unfortunately, the (FreeBSD-specific) 8kb script truncation bug remains.
Although it is reported for Dovecot v1.1.16, I see no reason why it
should not

Setup Question
I really want to try and get this plus addressing working correctly with
Dovecot and Postfix. After doing some reading I think I am going to
change my Postfix setup from mailbox_command to mailbox_transport. I
have a few questions to make sure I am thinking correctly. All of my
users are system users. Their mail is delivered directly to their

Significant performance problems
Hi all,
I'm sure my issues are a result of misconfiguration, but I'm hoping
someone can point me in the right direction. I'm getting pressure to
move us back to GroupWise, which I desperately want to avoid :-/
We're running dovecot 1.2.9 on Ubuntu 10.4 LTS+postfix. The server is a
VM with 1 vCPU and 4GB of RAM. We serve about 10,000 users with anywhere
