Hi, I've CentOS5 box with 3ware RAID controller in it. I can't get the tw_cli command line tool to work, and smartd also barks on me. The tw_cli simply doesn't see the controller, no errors logged anywhere. When starting smartd, it is much more verbose. I have RH 8 running on a Abit BE7-RAID motherboard. My task is installing Centos 4.1 with limited knowledge on installing with hardware RAID. I'm running a P4 2.8Ghz, 1G Ram, Raid 5 SATA-2 disks running on both a 3ware and Highpoint Rocket raid (this is going to get swapped out for a 3ware card soon).
