Sylpheed-Claws aka Claws-Mail
Question!
I took the spec from Claws-Mail (formerly called Sylpheed-Claws) of
FC6 and updated it from 2.9.0 to 2.9.1 (correctly I believe). I
created the rpms from the build and I suppose I will sign them and put
them up on kuei-jin.org. My question is, should I give them to someone
to see if what I did is correct? QA?? I didn't edit any source or
anything. I know that it works because I

x %>% y as an alternative to which( x > y)
Dear R cognoscenti,
While having NA as a native type is nifty, it is annoying when making binary choices.
Question: Is there anything bad about writing comparison functions that behavior like %in% (which I love) and ignore NAs?
"%>%" <- function(table, x) {
return(which(table > x))
}
"%<%" <- function(table, x) {
return(which(table < x))

sylpheed email client oddity
With the Sylpheed email client:
Compose a message
Click the button to attach a file to that message
Attach a file
Save the message to draft
Compose another message
Click the button to attach a file to that message
With Sylpheed 2.5.0 on Fedora 10 I see the directory containing the file that I
attached when composing the first message, which is what I expect to see.
With sylpheed-2.0.4-0.el5.rf

Problem sourcing file
Hi all,
I created a file to define some functions. When I try to source this file,
sometimes it works but sometimes I get the following error:
>Source(‘File.R’)
Error in srcfilecopy(filename, lines, file.info(filename)[1, "mtime"]) :
unused argument(s) (file.info(filename)[1, "mtime"])
It works when I just started the R session, but after using some

problem with COPY?
hi all,
I've been trying to use dovecot (from cvs 03.mar.2003, linux 2.2.20,
gcc 2.96, openssl 0.9.7a) as an replacement for uw-imap, and it seems
to be doing its job, except for one thing:
I have my mua (sylpheed-claws from cvs) set up so that it will sort
message into certain(imap) directories. so when I check the mail in the
INBOX, new mails will be processed automatically and, for

Thomas,
Thank you for your reply about the for () loop. The as.character advice
worked. Sorry for the delay in getting back to?I had to set the project aside
for a few weeks.
This didn?t work exactly as is
for (patient in as.character(1:n)){
pt <- MRN == patient
(rest of the function)
}
But this did
for (patient in as.character(levels(MRN))){
pt <- MRN == patient

which e-mail client can work with recent dovecot?
Hi,
I'm trying to use dovecot-1.0.rc7.
Before I've used dovecot-1.0 from nightly cvs build of August 08, 2006.
It worked perfectly, on Linux 64-bit, you can see spec and patches at
http://www.sisyphus.ru/srpm/dovecot/
When I tried to upgrade to rc7 and to recent nightly cvs builds with the
same configuration and patches (provided necessary adaptations), it
builds O.K, but can not move

immediate delete of mails
Hello all!
I've got a home server running on an ARM Cortex-A7 with my custom Linux distribution. It's also responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mails. The SMTP server is OpenSMTPD-6.0.3p1. I'm using Dovecot-2.3.2.1 to export the mails (mailbox storage format) using IMAP.
My old server used to have Dovecot-1.2.0 and honestly, it was absolutely sufficient for me. However,

Problem: mail moved by thunderbird script is invisible to mail clients, but in cur directory
Over the last year I've had a script moving old mail (120 days) into my
annual archive folder. This is the first year I've done this with Dovecot,
previously it was running against Cyrus.
There's nothing particularly clever: a few conditions to match, then "move
message to" the appropriate archive folder. There's one for every year
from 2000 to 2015. 2015 is just

Dovecot returns everything starting with "." as folder
Hi,
I'm using dovecot imapd 0.99.10.5 from debian unstable and I
noticed that dovecot returns everything in the maildir
folder that starts with a "." as a folder as the result of
LIST "" "%"
command without checking if it is really a maildir folder
(must contain the directories cur, new, tmp and the file
maildirfolder).
This is a little bit annoying because

Problem with emails larger than 10k
I cannot download emails that are larger than 10k. I can download them fine
with test32. I am running test35 on OpenBSD/macppc -current. I am
downloading the files with Sylpheed-Claws 0.9.9claws on OpenBSD/macppc
-current (different machines), over pop3-ssl on IPv6. Problem still occurs
with IPv4.
On the large files, the download hangs at 4.0k. Multiple small emails work
fine.

Dovecot don't recognise new messages in maildir /new
Hi,
i'm google for it and i searched the archives, but i can't find the problem i have or a hint for a solution.
I'm using Postfix as MTA, the new messages deliver by postfix to the maildir:
/mail/domain.tld/userpart/new/
Dovecot sometimes show the new mails directly (it's very unusual) but mostly it needs for an hour that dovecot recognize the new messages.
