Hello all.
I use dovecot in combination with postfix, postfixadmin for virtual users.
Deliver to the mailbox now is done by postfix
Now i want to enable quota's and therefor i need dovecot deliver.
Can i just switch to dovecot deliver?
Or must i first do some prrperations in the mailboxes.

Upgrade question from 1.1 to 1.2
Good afternoon,
I am considering to upgrade from Dovecot 1.1.18 to 1.2.x and was reading
your Wiki regarding any changes and found: "If you were using e.g.
mail_location = maildir:/var/mail/%h, just change it to mail_location =
maildir:%h and add /var/mail/ prefix to home dirs."
I am currently using: "mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir" in combination

Question regarding layout.
Hello all.
I have a question regarding my mail flow.
We have some users who are in a mail group (alias), and these alias
receives a lot of attached documents.
So i have the document in all the mailboxes of the alias.
If the attached document is 2MB and that is not rare, i have 10 times 2
MB on my mail server.
Is there a way to tackle this.
Maybe by making the alias a mailbox itself and give

zpool labelclear destroys GPT data
When i use zpool labelclear, it wipes the whole disk including gpt data.
So the whole disk is empty and i need to create the gpt partitions again.
Is this supposed to work like this?
The man page suggests that it only wipes the ZFS metadata.
zpool labelclear [-f] device
Removes ZFS label information from the specified device. The
device
must not be part of an active pool

dovecot auth is case insensitive, but fs is sensitive :)
others have found this problem ?
this possible bug can be used by user in that way that one password
login can use 2 maildirs in filesystem effitively give them all space
qoutas and lost of other goodies
so to speak:
foo at example.com with a password can login with fOO at example.com and
fOo at example.com
add more chars to get more mailbox :/
confirms ?

Wildcard delivery from Postfix to Dovecot LDA issues
[apologies for postfix/dovecot cross-post]
How, exactly, do postfix and dovecot communicate when postfix attempts
to determine whether to deliver a message to the dovecot LDA, or to
bounce it? In other words, how does postfix decide to bounce foo, and
deliver bar, in these log messages:
postfix/pipe[11857]: 933BCA071A: to=<foo at example.com>, relay=dovecot,
... status=bounced (user
