Hello all, I am new to the list so bear with me. I am testing dovecot out on a test server running RHEL ES 3, I have installed 0.99.14-1.1.el3 and 1.0-0_20.rc7.el3. This server is using the mbox mailbox format, running sendmail, procmail, and using PAM to do authentication to an LDAP server. I tried RC16 from RC7 and like other releases since RC7 it is significantly slower. I'm still trying to figure out why. But I have again switched back. Do new version take up a lot more ram perhaps? I'm running with a gig of ram, and I'm running a few other apps. It's not a fast computer, just an old 754 pin semptron. But the point is that RC7 runs a lot faster than RC16.

It looks like the v.0 RC7 is still not stable. It hangs almost every day. This morning I found that pop3 was not working but imap was working. I know other times when dovecot stop working, neither pop3 and imap worked. I just want to know if other users are getting the same problem.

And got this regression with dovecot-1.1.rc7 with each pop3 connection, hg version of 2 days ago was working fine. Now I'm back again to hg before "Message sort index handling rewrite". Hello all: I have two machines with btrfs, that give me the "blocked for more than 120 seconds" message. After that I cannot write anything to disk, i am unable to unmount the btrfs filesystem and i can only reboot with sysrq-trigger. It always happens when i write many files with rsync over network. When i used 3.2rc6 it happened randomly on both machines after 50-500gb of writes.

Hi, The LDAP Plugin fails to build (it doesn't attempt to build it) in 1.2.rc7 because $have_ldap_plugin is checked before it's assigned in configure.in. Patch attached.
