Hi Timo, I've just setup Dovecot v1.2.rc5 and switched the mailbox format of one account to dbox. Therefor I've created an empty directory, called dbox, with access mode 0700, like the user's home directory. After the IMAP login with Thunderbird some dboxes was created. All permissions were set fine (0700 / 0600), except the permissions for the files: *

Hi Timo, I've just tried to convert my v1.2 configuration to a v2.0 configuration. Below a few obsolete warnings, among others "mail_executable has been replaced by service { executable }", was an interesting error: "doveconf: Error: duplicate listener: 198:" The broken parts of the converted configuration: # 2.0.beta4 (84ffb38839b9): /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux

Wish list item: %g/%{gid} variable
I think it would be very useful to have a user's GID in a variable. So i could use for example: mail_attachment_dir = /srv/mail/.SiS/%{gid} I use one GID per domain and the aliases fqhns of the domain. When for example example.com would be an alias for exmaple.net (gid: 12345), the attachments would be stored inside /srv/mail/.SiS/12345/, no matter if a message was sent to john.doe at

The builtins library of compiler-rt is a performance HOG^WKILLER
Hi @ll, LLVM-7.0.0-win32.exe contains and installs lib\clang\7.0.0\lib\windows\clang_rt.builtins-i386.lib The implementation of (at least) the multiplication and division routines __[u]{div,mod,divmod,mul}[sdt]i[34] shipped with this libraries SUCKS: they are factors SLOWER than even Microsoft's NOTORIOUS POOR implementation of 64-bit division shipped with MSVC and Windows!
