Dovceot 1.0.8 compile error after rewrite patch
Added the rewrite patch for 1.0.8 without any problems, but when I tried building with: configure --prefix=/usr/local/dovecot, make gives this output: gcc -shared .libs/mail-log-plugin.o -Wl,-soname -Wl,lib20_mail_log_plugin.so -o .libs/lib20_mail_log_plugin.so ar cru .libs/lib20_mail_log_plugin.a mail-log-plugin.o ranlib .libs/lib20_mail_log_plugin.a creating lib20_mail_log_plugin.la (cd

First Login (Thunderbird) Aborted in RC15?
Not sure if this is anything to worry about. Just upgraded to RC15 to do some testing, and like always, I monitor the logs when I do this. I restarted the server (basically a clean install, uninstalled RC2, installed RC15, same config file), and then opened Thunderbird. (Ip's masked) Dec 15 14:35:50 mafeking dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<joeblogs>, method=plain, rip=<me>,

rc15 dumped core
We have been running rc15 since Sunday experiencing no trouble, but today one user crashed. rc15 on Solaris-5.9, the server had app 6GB free memory at the time of the crash, app 70% idle running with an avg.load at 4 of 8 processors available. The USER's INBOX was quite smooth, app 13MB containing 320 messages. The core dump was accompanied with these log-entries: Nov 23 2006 12:27:00

segfault in RC15
Hi all, ive seen a few segfaults in RC15. It's hard for me to reproduce but I was able to get a core when it happened with one of our customers. RC15 FreeBSD 4.10 X86 NFS/NetApp It's squirrelmail/webmail client. Can't reproduce it, cant turn on dovecot.rawlog because I dont know in advance which customer will hit this. See it about 5 times per hour, with thousands of logins per hour.

rc14 and rc15 performance issues
Hi, I am stuck at rc13 because rc14 and rc15 have both failed to keep up with imap connections on my (slow old) system. I have the problem where if a lot of people check their email at once (like at the top of the hour) then my load goes way up and things slow to a crawl. My setup: Solaris 10 on an E220R, mbox format, imap and imaps only. I also use "login_process_per_connection =

spandsp-0.0.2pre6
Just wondering if anyone else has managed to successfully compile spandsp-0.0.2pre6... I'm assuming it is working for most people, else it probably wouldn't have been released, and/or, other people would have had more to say about it... In any case, these are the errors I am getting while doing a make: if /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I -g -O2 -MT

[LLVMdev] OpenMPI and llvm-gcc
Hi, I was wondering whether or not MPI-libraries are expected to work with llvm-gcc? I tried to compile openmpi-1.3 using the llvm-gcc4.2-2.5-x86-darwin9 distribution on my MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.6. Installation using the gcc (gcc version 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5490)) worked well. But for the llvm-gcc I get the following error message (during the make): > .... > Making all

RC15 problems with dovecot-shared and umask distilled
I recently posted about problems I've been having with dovecot-shared and umask in RC15 (using Solaris 9). I've now been able to distill what I'm experiencing into these two separate points: 1. dovecot-uidlist and message files never inherit the dovecot-shared group 2. With umask=0007 these files are created with mode 600 instead of 660: dovecot-uidlist, dovecot.index,

rc15 sort bug
Hi, ive come across what looks like a bug in how dovecot sorts the mail when sorting on subject. We noticed this on our current beta8 version, and I can also reproduce it in rc15. One of our customers has hundreds of emails with subjects like this: Subject: 20060823 Kanglaonline-NSCN(IM) cadres violating Tml truce: NSCN(K) Subject: 20060824 LSE - Shell jv denies 3.2 bln usd fraud claims by

NHW v0.3.0-rc15 new version
Hello, It is very difficult for me to work on NHW currently, but however I found a little slot of time to release the NHW v0.3.0-rc15 new version, for those interested. I still continue to fine-tune the nhw_kernel weights, and so this new version seems to have a little more precision, and so a better visual quality (hope my eyes are not tired...).
