Statistical tests and measures for "cone-like" distributions?
Hi, Are there any special statistical tests, or functions in R I could use to measure "cone-like" distributions? I have several data-sets, which I've been plotting parts of as 2D plots, where I get a "cone-like" distribution of the data points. That is, the data appears to be bounded by two non-parallel lines, starting at the origin, giving rise to a

Feasibility of Tinc vpn with my current setup.
Thanks for the reply Guss, So in my case the Amazon VPS server is behind a FULL CONE NAT(static NAT), so is that enough to hole punch other nodes. what all ports will should be opened up on the NAT device? Most of the other nodes are behind cg-nat, so I wont have any control over its nat. Thank you, Regards, Bobby Thomas. On Oct 19, 2015 1:45 AM, "Guus Sliepen" <guus at

Feasibility of Tinc vpn with my current setup.
Hi all, I am new to Tinc VPN and really would like to make full benefit of this implementation if possible. I would like to know whether I will be able to use Tinc to its full potential. My current setup is as follows, IPfire router/firewall(openvpn client) --->ISP(Internet)--->Amazon VPS(openvpn server). The ipfire router is behind a CARRIER-GRADE NAT, I am able to reach the network

UPnP support in tinc
Hi Guus, Unfortunately, I often notice that even with the advanced UDP hole punching mechanisms that tinc uses, I still come across cases on my network where two nodes behind NATs cannot talk to each other because one of the nodes is behind a "strict" NAT that won't use consistent source ports for UDP packets that are sent to different destination addresses. More formally, this

grandstream and stun
Hi, I noticed some issues with how grandstream handles stun test. GS is running version 1.0.4.50. First I reset the NAT router. Then reboot GS, get results of "restricted cone". Immediately reboot GS, get results "full cone". I tried quite a few public and commercial stun servers. Also tried different model/version of linksys routers. I always got the same issue. Winstun on

Generating exported wasm functions
Using LLVM v5, my Cone compiler (https://github.com/jondgoodwin/cone) automatically directly generated all functions as named and exported for both wasm text and binary files (not using clang/lld etc, but using the API). Upgrading to LLVM v7, generated wasm object files now fail, exhibiting markedly different behavior, behavior that varies between the text and binary files. For example, the

A am using Windows XP hosts with an SCO OpenServer using Samba in a workgroup, and Samba is the preferred master (os 255) with WINS support. I have the Browser service turned off on all Windows clients. Thanks, Rick Cone Secure Payment Systems

Lots of Samba (smbd) processes
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew why there would be so many Samba (smbd) processes running on my SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 system? I found an awful lot of them running, much more that what I would expect given the number of Windows PC's on the network. One of the users was having trouble accessing a file on the SCO system, and that is when I discovered this. I actually had to write a program

Collapsing Categorical Variables
Hi, Suppose I have a categorical variable called STREET, and I have 30 levels for it (i.e. 30 different streets). I want to find all those streets with only 15 observations or below then collapse them into a level called OTHER. Is there a quick way, other than using a for() loop, to do it? Currently what I'm doing is something like: ### Collapse STREET (those < 15) st <- c()

Composite Primary Keys
Have been looking into using rails but am finding the "Composite Primary Keys are Bad" thing a tad disturbing (to put it mildly). I have been working with RDBMS systems for over fifteen years and this is the first time I have herd the idea questioned. I have cone across using surrogate keys which mirror the composite key for performance reasons in VERY big databases but I have never

Asterisk both behind a NAT and outside at the same time
I've read a lot of the descriptions of handling NAT with Asterisk, and the use of both the nat and canreinvite flags. I am very familiar with Sip and NAT but have not seen an answer to the following question. My Asterisk server runs on a machine with two ethernets. One is an external net, with exposed IP addresses. The other is an internal net with natted IP addresses. Thus the server

domain truncated
Hi all, I have a problem with domain information being truncated from username during ldap search, so it can not be used in mail_location. This happens when user part of the username %n is used in pass_filter in passdb ldap search. When I use %u all username information remains and mailbox can be located. Here is my configuration. In dovecot.conf I have two locations one for system and one for

3D Graph Surface and single points (eg wireframe with points)
Hallo! ? I just want to make a 3D plot of a surface of a cone and want to plot some single points around. ? I tried wireframe but cannot find how to plot single points ? I tried scatterplot3d but there the surface is not simple to plot. And: How can I rotate the point of view by the z-axis ? I tried persp3d but how can I add some single points? ? Example: ? library(lattice) library(scatterplot3d)
