merb 0.4.0 - redirect problems
I had redirects working just the other day... before I upgraded to the latest release. Can somebody please chime in as to why this simple redirect is throwing an error? Controller: ----------------------- def do redirect "http://www.ebay.com" end Error Output: ------------------------- Internal server error 500 uninitialized constant Merb::ControllerMixin::MovedTemporarily in

serving static files
It seems that Merb is sending static files with Mongrel::DirHandler. (mongrel_handler.rb:52) if get_or_head and @files.can_serve(path_info) # File exists as-is so serve it up MERB_LOGGER.info("Serving static file: #{path_info}") @files.process(request,response) I haven''t done benchmarks and I''ve hardly glanced at DirHandler''s code but the

returning(...) ?
The following construct is an ActiveSupport-ism: returning(Foo.new) do |foo| ... end I don''t especially like it, since it''s both more verbose and less efficient than the direct alternative: foo = Foo.new ... foo It doesn''t occur many times in Merb, so does anyone agree with me that it should be removed? I tried doing this (patch attached) and I find

bigglm binomial negative fitted value
Hi, there Since glm cannot handle factors very well. I try to use bigglm like this: logit_model <- bigglm(responser~var1+var2+var3, data, chunksize=1000, family=binomial(), weights=~trial, sandwich=FALSE) fitted <- predict(logit_model, data) only var2 is factor, var1 and var3 are numeric. I expect fitted should be a vector of value falls in (0,1) However, I get something like this:

parameterization of glm nested design
Dear R community, I am new to R, a reforming SAS user :) I am running R 2.10.1 on a Windows XP machine. I would like to write linear functions of my coefficient parameter estimates from a glm, but am having a difficult time understanding the parameterization R uses. In the toy example below I am running a glm on binomial data, with clones and lines within clones as fixed effects, each with 6

[LLVMdev] ocaml+llvm
I'm hacking on an llvm backend for the ocaml language. http://caml.inria.fr/ocaml/ I'd like to solicit some advice regarding the constant data structures that ocaml's runtime requires. Rewriting its runtime is a non-goal. The biggest problem is a data structure called the frame table, a simple structure for which LLVM seems ill-prepared. For each call site in the program, ocaml

Routes
hi all, I want to move some routing tasks out of the router and into the controller. The goal is to make Merb feel less like mod_rewrite and give the user more control at the controller. The new Router is simple: it takes the path_info (not the whole request) then outputs a controller class and some parameters from the path matching. The rest of the routing would be done at the controller level.

Brick count limit in a volume
Hi, Gluster version is 3.10.5. I am trying to create a 5500 brick volume, but getting an error stating that 4444 bricks is the limit. Is this a known limit? Can I change this with an option? Thanks, Serkan

Brick count limit in a volume
Hi, I think this is the line limiting brick count: https://github.com/gluster/glusterfs/blob/c136024613c697fec87aaff3a070862b92c57977/cli/src/cli-cmd-parser.c#L84 Can gluster-devs increase this limit? Should I open a github issue? On Mon, Aug 21, 2017 at 7:01 PM, Serkan ?oban <cobanserkan at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > Gluster version is 3.10.5. I am trying to create a 5500 brick

This is the command line output: Total brick list is larger than a request. Can take (brick_count 4444) Usage: volume create <NEW-VOLNAME> [stripe <COUNT>] [replica <COUNT>] .... I am testing if a big single volume will work for us. Now I am continuing testing with three volumes each 13PB...

An upstream bug would be ideal as github issue is mainly used for enhancements. In the mean time, could you point to the exact failure shown at the command line and the log entry from cli.log? Opus Raw Pakcets
Hi, I have application, where I am reciving the RTP packets, which has OPUS payload. >From the RTP packets I got following information: (12 byes Header) tells about the version, payload time, time stamp, srsc, etc. The rest of the packet is OPUS payload (raw format), The TOC byte from OPUS payload tells its 20ms frame, even the time stamp different of 960 means 20 msec frame. I've committed the change to use Free instead of free in tcltk.c and sys-std.c (r78652 for R-devel, r78653 for R-patched). We might consider either moving Calloc/Free out of the Windows remapping or moving the remapping into header files so everything seeing our header files uses our calloc/free. Either would be less brittle that the current status. Best, luke On Sun, 7 Jun 2020, peter

ALTREP "wrapper" classes needs an Extract_subset method
Hi all, I believe I have found a bug (or perhaps just an oversight) with the ALTREP wrapper classes. The short form of this is that I believe that the wrapper classes need to override the default ALTREP `Extract_subset_method()` with a method that calls `Extract_subset()` on the "wrapped" object. I have a patch prepared here: https://github.com/DavisVaughan/r-source/pull/1 There is

You can pass the payload section of the RTP packets directly to an opus decoder to convert to PCM float or integer samples. To save it in a file other audio
