similar to: Performance problem with outlook & outlook express

I have a new user who is using Outlook Express with POP and seems to be having a problem downloading messages with attachments. Watching the logs it starts to download and then disconnects. When I use squirrelmail which is IMAP it all looks good so it's not a corrupt mailbox. I'm running Beta8 and using MBOX files. The problem seems to be related to POP and/or Outlook. Has anyone run

I am having problems with Outlook Express v.6 as an Imap client. Deleted emails are not making it to the Trash, or Deleted Items folders. I have been trying to find a setting in Outlook Express to control this. I am running Dovecot on a Red Hat 9.0 box. I do not have this problem with either Squirrelmail, or Mozilla. I have come across a strange situation, involving new accounts. I am running Dovecot 0.99.10-5 on Fedora Core 2. Dovecot is configured to use pam for authentication, and the dovecot pam service is configured to use pam_mkhomedir. When an account is created and the user logs in through SquirrelMail, there is no problem. The standard folders are available - Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items and Trash.
