forward flag metadata
In testing the migration from courier-imap to dovecot I've discovered that the forward flag on messages isn't kept track of in a standard way. courier-imap seems to keep track of forwarded messages in courierimapkeywords/:list dovecot seems to add an 'a' flag to the filename. Unfortunately this 'a' flag information doesn't seem to be given out by dovecot. It's

Reproduced the Login process died too early issue.
Hi. I tried for some time to reproduce the "Login process died too early issue". It seems related to when the system run out of file descriptors, to force the issue i forwarded 3k of messages trough the server(using thunderbird). I also tried with my usual mail application - mail.app, but no luck there. Aug 26 18:46:36 soekris postfix/cleanup[14739]: fatal: accept

Is there something wrong/contraditory on my config or I forgot something? I want: /var/dovecot-tests/: where user's inbox resides /var/dovecot-tests/home/: home dir (users will not be

Dovecot + Windows AD + Postfix + quota
Hello, I'm almost sure that all topics and problems mentioned below were separately posted to this list already. But after spending 4 days on searching, I did'n find a compilation similar to my case. So maybe some of you guys, are able to answer to help me solve this: 1. I'd like to use userdb and passdb of Dovetcot to work with Windows AD. 2. I have to use them both because I'd

Search for a usable pan manual
Hello, I'm looking for a more descriptive manual/tutorial/paper for the pan package. The provided manual and example do not contain any useful hints how to specify a model with more than one variable and leaves several questions unanswered. This also applies to the referred paper "Schafer: Imputation of missing covariates under a multivariate linear mixed model." Can anyone

Packet modification on Xen virutal Bridge
Hi guys, Now, I''m looking for a method to modify packet headers/contents when they arrive at xen bridges (e.g. xenbr0). For example, I consider a following operation; when a xen bridge recieves a packet(frame), it firstly encrypts the content using a predefined key, and then forwards it to other host/router. Is is possible to add such functionality to the xen bridge ? Any ideas,

Asterisk and Broadvoice, no incoming voice
I just signed up for the BroadVoice service a few hours ago, but for the life of me I can't get any incoming voice. The incoming connection is fine as it rings my extension from outside, but I can't hear anyone talking. Outgoing voice is working fine though. I've been looking through the archives, but I haven't found a solution to the problem yet. I even tried another router

(Background: Relatively new to dovecot; looking to do transparent replacement of long-established UW-IMAP on cluster of Linux boxes which NFS-mount a shared "/var/spool/mail".) With rc8, where I had already increased "login_max_processes_count" from default 128 to 1024, we had still hit the issue of too many logins crashing dovecot, so that trial had only lasted a couple of
