Starting Icecast as a service on CentOS
Hi All,
I've recently upgraded my hosting to a VPS running CentOS.
I'm trying to configure the VPS to launch Icecast as a service so that
Icecast starts if the virtual server reboots, or Icecast stops running.
I've found several scripts out there to place in my init.d folder, but
nothing seems to work for me as of yet.
Here is my Icecast2 setup:

NFS
I've finally managed to run Dovecot without errors in two computers with
maildir and indexes stored in NFS. I added a page to wiki about this:
http://wiki.dovecot.org/NFS
Suggestions how to keep attribute cache enabled but to allow Dovecot to
specifically request not to use a cached value (when it's important)
would be welcome.

Children, HasChildren
Hello,
I'm using dovecot 0.99.10.2 on a debian box. Mailstore is maildir.
If I list the IMAP hierarchy in mutt (debian, 1.5.4+20031024-1) it shows
all my plain mailboxes as having subfolders - while none of them have.
I straced mutt and this is the IMAP exchange (a bit reformatted
for readability):
write(6, "a0001 LSUB \"\" \"%\"\r\n", 19) = 19

Guest-domain has no login
Hi *,
as this is my first post I want to say hello to everybody.
Well, and unfortunatly I''ve already got a question for you:
I''ve installed a guest domain (OS: CentOS 4) on my xen-machine and
it''s para-virtualised (just to provide the information ;) ).
After the installation and mount the image containing the guest to copy
the necessary modules for the xen-kernel,

Bug#396477: network-bridge script exits prematurely
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 3.0+hg11624-2
Severity: normal
I'm running etch with xen 3.0.3 with a hand-compiled 2.6.18.1
kernel. The /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge fails to run,
because it (effectively) does this:
set -e
modprobe netloop > /dev/null 2>&1
As I do not have a netloop module (where is it supposed to come
from ? The 2.6.18.1 xen-patched kernel doesn't

Support for merging LPK into mainline openssh?
Hello
I've created patch to the openssh which allows to use an agent for obtaining the public keys.
It may be the first step towards the implementation of something similar lpk. The solution is independent on the agent, so it may be used with ldap based agent or with any other technology.
May be that patch acceptable as the first aproach to the lpk replacement?
It is placet in mindrot's

Integrating with Drupal SQL db
Hi
I'm trying to get Dovecot to use Drupal users password for authenticating
IMAP users. But I just cant figure out how to make Dovecot understand the
password hash type that Drupal 7 is using.
My example user with password Teacher1 looks like this in Drupal database:
$S$DZwJa.U8HXT2PvTmwCK13rGEYEvnx5DB6/hlqnfCBum4s4U7MVWU
Dovecot retrieves this hash but complains that its not a recognized

I ran dovecot -a and the blizzard of data seemed ok to my limited
knowledge. Is there another log I should look into to trace this error
down?

work with ldap. However, samba won't start now, even after I returned to my
old configuration. Here is the error I'm getting:

Bug#770456: Please start a qemu process in domain 0.
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 4.4.0-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch
Under some circumstances the xl toolstack needs to create a loopback
mount of a guest disk in dom0 (e.g. in order to run pygrub). Depending
on the nature of the guest disk (e.g. qcow2 or raw file image based)
this can require a qemu instance in dom0.
The upstream xencommons starts such a qemu on boot. The following patch
