1.0-test58
http://dovecot.org/test/ - Fixed APPEND hanging in some situations. Didn't happen with mail_save_crlf=yes. - Added pop3_uidl_format setting. No need to patch sources anymore if you don't want the default. Does anyone want pop3_uidl_xuidl_header yes/no setting, with fallbacking to pop3_uidl_format if X-UIDL header isn't found? Shouldn't be difficult to do.. - Added

Hi, I've enabled autoexpunge for Trash and Junk. Now imap process core dumps occasionally. Dovecot 2.3.6 on Solaris10: build issues, segfaults
Looking further into this segfault at settings-parser.c:setting_copy():1519 *dest_size = *src_size; *src_size points to type size_t (typedef unsigned long), a 4-byte aligned value consistent with a 32-bit build. This is mismatched with declared type (gdb) whatis src_size type = const uoff_t * (gdb) whatis uoff_t type = unsigned long long (gdb) p sizeof(uoff_t) $1 = 8 resulting

I have posted a couple of truss outputs, but so far no resolution. Sorry for the slow response. I've been "fighting other fires". [PATCH] xenstore-stat v2
The entries in xenstore have permission attributes. The attributes can be easily altered by xenstore-chmod, however, I cannot find a easy way to see them. I''ve modified xenstore_client.c to raise a new utility. The utility checks the permission and makes an easy-look output. Please tell me any suggestions. Thanks. Anybody know what this racing error means? I've got hundreds of them in my Dovecot log file. I tried to search the archives but couldn't find a search link. maildir locking and 'racing'
hello Timo, list, quick error-message question. A few of the accounts on my main mailserver are failing to log in with errors like this: dovecot: Mar 02 19:33:35 Error: imap(user at example.com): maildir_file_do(/var/lib/vpopmail/domains/example.com/user/Maildir) racing if I log in by telnet everything is fine, and from the source it looks like the error happens when dovecot fails to

nfs and pop3
Hi, I'm working with dovecot 1.0.beta2 for pop3 only and have set index=memory, so no indizes are created on the disk. pop3_uidl_format is set to %f. The maildirs are located on an nfs-share. So generally, this setup is very similar to what qmail-popup and qmail-pop3d does. However, everytime I'm switching from qmail-pop3d to dovecot, the system load increases from less than 2 to more

Compressed maildir
Greetings, I noticed a while back someone posted a patch/plugin that allowed Dovecot to use compressed mbox files. I'm now wondering how far that would put us from having compressed maildir? I have a server with more CPU than disk space, and while I can buy more HDD space, my backup solution doesn't make that practical. It seems to me that when looking for a message file, if it
