Released Sieve v0.1.7 and ManageSieve v0.11.6 for Dovecot v1.2.0
Hello Dovecot users, I hereby release new versions of the Sieve packages for the recently released Dovecot v1.2.0 (Congrats Timo!). Apart from small changes to make things compile with Dovecot again, a few other bugs were fixed as well. Unfortunately, the (FreeBSD-specific) 8kb script truncation bug remains. Although it is reported for Dovecot v1.1.16, I see no reason why it should not

Deliver/LDA, no data in the logs, even with debug set (dovecot + qmail-ldap), and sieve issue
Hi, I am trying to integrate sieve with qmail-ldap. I can't get it to work, and deliver isn't logging anything to the log files (or syslog, if selected). Hence I have got no way to diagnose the problem. Any help appreciated. *root at debtwo:~# dovecot --version* 1.2.13 *root at debtwo:~# dovecot -n* # 1.2.13: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.32-3-686 i686 Debian squeeze/sid

trying to make cmusieve happen globally
In Dovecot 1.1.11 cmusieve is apparently integrated in the Ubuntu 9.10 package "dovecot-common" since the files are there. I am wanting to right now just do a very basic test of the setup to see how it runs before doing more sophisticated steps that could obscure any errors or bugs (e.g. unit testing). So I took the following example sieve script from the wiki1 documentation: require

Sieve doesn't appear to be active
I'm hoping that this isn't something stupid and that I'm not wasting bandwidth here, but I'm stuck and don't know any further ways of debugging this. And most non-documentation, end-user created info I find is for 1.0 with cmusieve. Running Dovecot 1.2.11 on Fedora Core 12. Added 'sieve' to 'mail_plugins'. Convert to DBox
I am thinking of trying out dbox format. I am currently using maildir. Is it possible for me to switch just one user account to dbox while keeping all of my other users on maildir? If so, how would I go about doing that? Dovecot upgrade broke per-user Sieve scripts
Hi all, I'm migrating my private mail server from Dovecot 1.0.10 to Dovecot 1.1.4 (both the latest package in Ubuntu Hardy and Intrepid, resp.). I'm using Postfix with Postfixadmin virtual users , passing mail to Dspam, which in turn passes email to the Dovecot LDA. The relevant configuration section is attached below. When running on the old version of Dovecot, the LDA correctly
