Bug: ThunderBird and dovecot 1rc1
Hello! It seems to me that correct deletion of message in thunderbird still doesn't work with ThanderBird and dovectot 1rc1. As I've said before messages are not removed phisically from filesystem, just marked for deletetion. Though I'm not sure that this is dovecot bug and not ThunderBird. Anyone to clarify this issue ?

Reading Mutt mboxes from Thunderbird
Hi, I'm a user of Mutt, and before moving to Thunderbird I'm trying to share mboxes between them. To do this, I installed Dovecot to create an IMAP server in my local machine, to serve mutt mboxes to be read by Thunderbird. So far, I can read my inbox from /var/mail/%u, but in mutt, I have many folders in ~/mail, like 2010-mails, 2011-mails, mailing-list-x, mailing-list-y, and so on. How

beta8 + mbox + Thunderbird
Hi all, I'm still using beta8 (on FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE). Recently I put a co-worker who's using Thunderbird (1.5.0.4) on it and he seemed to have lost some messages (which were delivered on the spool since seen on procmail logfile). I switched him on another server to play safe and tried to test it myself but failed to reproduce the issue. I myself use mutt on a daily basis with no

newbie: problem with IMAPS + mutt + Thunderbird
Hi, I'm a Dovecot newbie and have some problems with the configuration/the resulting interoperability. My setup looks like this: I receive my mail using qmail-ldap and sort it with a number of means into ~/Mailbox/ (= INBOX) and ~/Mail/folder/ for various values of 'folder' (generally one folder per mailing list). The sorting is done via .qmail-* files, LDAP entries, and

Noob question: user moved to a OU dissapear from getent, but groups don't
Thanks for your reply. I've migrated the domain copying all files in /var/lib/samba and /etc/samba from original domain to new domain, I've edit the smb file to change the "passdb backend" line to match the old server (because original is localhost and give me an error connecting), and then I run this command: samba-tool domain classicupgrade --dbdir=/home/user/samba

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc: missing dbg.declare/dbg.stoppoint at optimization level > O0
Hello, I use llvm and llvm-gcc as a C-to-C transformation tool using a modified version of the c backend, and rely on llvm debug instructions to link back to the original source code. Does anyone know how to get detailed line number and variable debug information at optimization levels beyond O0? Currently, I extract this debug information by compiling with -g. This works fine with

curve fitting
I have the data: for x: 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44, 50, 56, 62, 68, 74, for y: 100, 99, 99, 98, 97, 94, 82, 66, 48, 38, 22, 10, 1. y depends on x by equation: y = 100*exp(b*(1-exp(c*x))/c), where b and c are coefficients. I need to find coefficients in this equation for given data. How can I do that by means of R? Thank you for advance. With regard, Dmitry.

Browing in Samba4 AD domain
Hello guys: Some weeks ago I've implemented a couple of Samba4 servers. One of them running Zentyal 4.2 Development version and the other one on a Samba built from source on CentOS 7. Both are running Samba 4.3.4. There are 35 machines joined to my domain and users are complaining that they can't see all the machines in the network through the browsing feature from Windows. mutt execution by daemon
I have a user w/o a shell that runs an app as a daemon that needs to use mutt to email an attachment from a script. During testing when the app was ran as root everything worked:) Now that we obviously are running as a user w/o a shell this little bit broke. I used mutt as I needed to send the attachment as mime, and the ability to specify a muttrc from the cli when executed was useful so we
