Busy, again
Just a note to people if you're wondering why I'm not replying to most

ISOdate/ISOdatetime performance suggestions, other date/time questions

working with date/times I have come across a problem that ISOdate and
ISOdatetime are too slow on large vectors of data. I was surprised just
until I looked at the implementation and the man page: "ISOdatetime and

time I run the first example for psm() I'm getting an error <<couldn't find
function "survreg.fit">>. However, survreg.fit does exists in the search path.

please check, if your hard drives are ok. Status D means Disk Sleeps and Samba is
waiting for Harddisk I/O. Can you do a ls in these directories?

hi,
the smbd daemons are fallting into process status "D" (uninterruptible sleep). The only way to ged rid of these processes is rebooting your system! To analayze why smbd is falling into status "D" you have to check your logs. Another option is building a strace profile of smbd to see what`s going on.

R-devel) by a factor of millions. This is for classes that ARE derived

thanks for quick reply. at first look I thought it is what I need,
but, unfortunately, it doesn't applied to original data - it
creates new data with loosing original indexes ! I want to keep indexes
of original data, but replace original data with $mids of corresponding
$breaks.
So, if I have z = 1:10, t=hist(z,plot=F)

Samba and LDAP install on FreeBSD
Here is my problem. I installed the OpenLdap 2.4.10 server and SASL
client. I then went to install the Samba 3.0.30 Port and it tells me that
it needs to install OpenLDAP client 2.3.42, but the 2.4.10 is in the same
place and I need to deinstall it. I deinstall 2.4.10 and samba will
install, but now openldap will not run because it has missing files. I
went to reinstall the 2.4.10 SASL client,

Paravirt spinlock clears slowpath flag after doing unlock.
