quota and lazy_expunge plugins both used: quotas go wrong with lazy_expunge'd mails
Hello, I may have missed a point, but I could have found an issue between plugins quota and lazy_expunge. I have noticed that the "lazy_expunge"d mails are counted as part of the quota, while the documentation says it should not be. I have first tried to find out if this was a configuration mistake somewhere. Notably, you can notice that the expunged mails are in directory ~/expunged

UTF-8 stuff
Here's a propsed heavy-duty solution for your UTF-8 problems. I'm including a patch in this message, but I'll put the new files on my web site at http://rano.org/tmp/xiph_files.tar.gz I've tested this by running vorbiscomment with and without -DHAVE_ICONV=1 in vorbis-tools/share/Makefile. It seems to work. Changed files: acinclude.m4: Add a test for nl_langinfo(CODESET). This

smbclient failure
I am still unable to get the following command to work correctly. The x's replace the correct entry obviously. smbclient -Lboss -Uxxxxxx%xxxxxxxx I decided to run the command as root preceeded by 'truss' so I could generate a debug output. This is the output from the command without 'truss' Domain=[BOSS] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager] Sharename

PATCH : Fix missing protoypes
Hi all, I added -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes to the CFLAGS and found that there were a number warnings generated. The patch below fixes those warnings and adds the two -W flags to configure.in. Plugins for Dovecot at FreeBSD 6.0
Hi I met problem developing plug-in under FreeBSD 6.1. First I tried to use internal plugins like quota and acl but I got: IMAP(xxx): module /usr/local/lib/dovecot/imap/lib01_acl_plugin.so: dlsym(acl_plugin_init) failed: Shared object "nss_dns.so.1" not found, required by "imap" This library doesn't exist on FreeBSD 6.1 Same story when u mention any plugin in

bug fixes in vorbis-tools/share
Here's a patch to fix some bugs in my code, plus a header file I probably forget to send in before. * Missing header file charset.h. It's not needed outside vorbis-tools/share, so I think it can live there. * There was a minor bug in the UTF-8 decoder utf8_mbtowc(). * I've added some more tests in charset_test.c in an attempt to convince myself that there aren't any more bugs.

Samba winbind under Solaris 8 and Bash shell
Dear All, for several weeks and with several attempts using different versions and compilers etc. I'm trying to get Samba winbind running on a Solaris 8 workstation. I compiled Samba winbind with Sun studio 11 compiler and I really don't believe it has something to do with the compilation process. The problem I'm facing is that I can join our Win2k3 domain fine. I can lookup all the

patch: allow proxy to lookup host by name
This patch allows the dovecot proxy processes to lookup the destination host by name instead of IP address. Tested agains 1.2.10, expected to work against 1.2.11. The patch is pretty straightforward, it's making it work within the restrictions of the login process that's more interesting. I have made some changes to the wiki (pending approval) to - enhance the discussion of proxy

ssh-3.5p1 core dumps on Solaris 2.6
Hi, I've reported this problem a month ago on this list, and probably no-one is interested? Binaries were configured with krb4 and afs enabled. However, only the second crash seems to be related to krb4. Any thoughts? I had to add one line to includes.h: #include <sys/types.h> #include <sys/socket.h> #include <sys/ioctl.h> +#include <sys/ioccom.h> #include

PAM (winbind?) auth still does NOT work on Solaris 9
Hi all! I'm getting STUCK trying to get pam and winbind working. Using Solaris 9, Samba 3.0.1 (built as ./configure --with-ads --with-pam --with-syslog --with-winbind) Kerberos 5 is installed. It looks like everything is working EXCEPT for user auth when telneting, ftping etc... (Browsing of Samba box and connecting to it works fine and fast!!!) PLEASE, HELP! Or, point me the right

To work around this I had to go into Windows Explorer and change the folder options from "Enable Web Contents in Folders" to "Use Windows Classic Folders". This way, Windows Media player won't load the file when you click on it. Just trying to save

ssh ignores -f with protocol version 2
Subject line says it all. I couldn't find an on-line bug database to check whether this has already been reported. I'm testing openssh-2.1.1p2 on Linux. Perhaps this isn't a bug, but it's certainly an incompatibility with "SSH Version 2.0.13", which I want to replace, and I can't find another way of achieving what I currently do with: $ ssh -C -f user at host -L

integer decoder
Is anyone working on an Ogg Vorbis decoder that uses only integer arithmetic? Would it be hard to do? It will be required at some point (for example, many portable MP3 players are based on an ARM processor without the floating-point coprocessor), but I don't claim that now is the time to start work on such a thing. I'm just curious. Edmund --- >8 ---- List archives:
