(Andere applicaties zoals notepad, wordpad, freecell, etc werkten perfect..)

trouble accessing mbox folders with simultaneous logins
Hi all! I have setup dovecot (RPM) on a Fedora Core 2 machine using LDAP for authentication. It all seems to work pretty well, except for simultaneous logins. I am using mbox files to store the mail as follows (from /etc/dovecot.conf): default_mail_env = mbox:~/.mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u:INDEX=MEMORY So the INBOX file is stored in /var/mail, other mailfolders are stored in the users

I've been searcing this newsgroup and other places for a solution to this and finally decided to post and see what anyone has to say. I am running Ubuntu 6.06 with Wine 0.9.30. [PATCH] Fix: virt-inspector takes ages to run on RHEL 3 guests
Currently virt-inspector takes ages to run on RHEL 3 guests. I tracked this down to processing the old-style initrd images in these guests. These initrd images are compressed ext2 filesystems. 'cpio' tries to parse them as cpio files, and takes a very long time to fail (and spews out a lot of errors in the process). These two patches fix the problem: Firstly we introduce a new command

Loading Moss (MX) files takes ages... anyone?
Hi, I have some users who are having big delays (up to 30 mins) when trying to load MX (infrasoft) files off the Samba Server. Don't have any problems with similarly sized, non MX files off same server. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this, even if just to say "we have no problems with these files" The clients are Win NT and 2000 boxes. Server is Solaris 8 with

assigning 'heat.colors' according to ages in 'symbols()'
Hi, I have spatial data for plants that I would like to plot according to its radius using sysmbols(). Also I would like to color the circles according to an individual's age using heat.colors(17) [ages within the whole data set range from 0:16]. I have not found an easy way to assign ages (=a) a specific heat.color. Any suggestions? Thanks, Patrick x <- c(1,3,4,6,7,3,2,8,3,6,5,5) y
