Silly MeetMe() question.
I've got the ztdummy kernel module loaded and seem to have all the desired prerequisites in place, but Asterisk never seems to compile with MeetMe() application support enabled, nor does there appear to be a module I am failing to load that would contain this application. Is there something really obvious I am missing? Thanks, -- Alex Balashov Evariste Systems Web :

SID resolution to Username
Hello, I have two Samba 3.0.22 PDCs and each trust each other. When I add an user of each domain to the permissions of a file on a windows machine (W2k, WXP), it shows for them DOMAIN\USERNAME. Everything is fine. But when i close the permission window and reopen it, then the user out of the trusted domain is only shown as SID. The one of the own domain is resolved fine. This happens on clients

Messages does not appear in OE6
Hi List! I have an issue with dovecot: Outlook express users sometimes can't see some emails (they are not even listed) that can be seen with other IMAP clients, I tested it (and it works) with Evolution, Outlook and SquirrelMail (a web mail). Please note that this is not the client bug reported at http://dovecot.org/clients.html with the message: "Message is no longer available on

problems with Debian Sarge
Hi folks, I've updated my dovecot 0.99.14 with the last package (0.99.14-1sarge0), but it doesn't work. I've found that problem: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.debian.devel.bugs.general/80872 then I've removed that, and reinstalled first package (from /var/cache/apt/archives), and NOW it doesnt' work too :( When I start the daemon, I see in my logs: dovecot: May 31

Get all symbols stored(?)in llvm::orc::ExecutionSession
Hi Bjoern, I’m a bit worried about taking symbols from modules, because some of the > symbols might change later when the code was compiled with the JIT Symbol names shouldn't change from the moment they're added to the JIT (i.e. after being fully mangled). Consistency of symbol names is a requirement for ORC to work. You could try hooking into the orc::Platform API for this:

Winbindd Question
Hello, I have two Domains (DOM1 and DOM2). Each trust each other. Now I configured winbind on PDC1 with the following settings: winbind separator = + idmap backend = ldap:ldap://192.168.1.4 idmap uid = 10000-20000 idmap gid = 10000-20000 winbind enum users = yes winbind enum groups = yes template homedir = /home/%U template shell =

ORC JIT - Incorrect support for COFF files?
Hey Lang, That is really cool :D Is the creation of that table a Windows thingy or is this the way the LLVM handles it? Also… since it is COFF related – the never ending story of “finding my global constructors” first of all: Yes! I tried using the “initialize” function of LLVMJIT – however this only worked when I was loading a Module. When I added the object file (from the same source) the

Questions about moving from MCJIT to Orc JIT
Nice! Let me try to answer some questions, Before that I have to mention this is ORC version 2 APIs and this is where the project is moving forward. JITDylib is the symbol table, basically for a JIT Symbol it have an associated materializers, (you can think of it like an entity that generate the address for that symbol), Example: compiler are materializers. So to add symbols to your own JIT you

JIT-Client for Shared Memory
Hi Bjoern, For single object files you can override the needsToReserveAllocationSpace method that is inherited from llvm::RuntimeDyld::MemoryManager (make it return true) and then implement the reserveAllocationSpace method to allocate memory for all sections up front. There is no easy way to do this for multiple object files. I think you would have to mimic the memory size calculations

Compiling the latest SVN checkout
Hello, I just checked out the latest version of speex and I want to compile it. The INSTALL file says that's easy: bjoern@deimos:~/studium/beleg/resources/svn/speex$ cat INSTALL Installing Speex is as easy as: % ./configure [--prefix=<install-path>] % make % make install Note that if you are using the code from SVN, you will need to run "autogen.sh" instead of

JIT client - late cross references
Hello Alex, This is an interesting approach! Thank you for that! I understand the basic idea but sadly... My skills in handling the IR are not very high, so I can't imagine where and when to replace the calls to b() with the trampoline. The only thing I can handle would be creating that trampoline variable. Also will this approach be a problem for really time critical tasks? Since I replace

Get all symbols stored(?)in llvm::orc::ExecutionSession
Hi Bjoern, Did you see my previous reply? There's no way to do this currently. ORC assumes you know all the symbols, > since you added the modules defining them. > For testing / debugging you can dump the modules to stderr using > ExecutionSession::dump, but that's about it. > Do you want the symbols for diagnostic purposes, or some other reason? 7.x and multiple IPs in jails
Hello all, I've been searching around and have come up with no current discussions on this issue. I'll keep it brief: In 7.0 or 7.1 is there any provision to have multiple IP addresses in a jail? I'm stumped on this, as I just started a new hosting project that needs a few jails. At least one of those requires multiple IPs, which is something I never really even realized was

Function - replaceAllUsesWith
I could actually track down the cause of the problem: mainModue->getFunction("puts")->replaceAllUsesWith( llvm::ConstantExpr::getPointerCast( llvm::ConstantInt::get(llvm::IntegerType::get(context, 64), 0xF), mainModue->getFunction("puts")->getType() ) ); The problem is the line where I receive the type of the function "puts", it will crash the application

ORC JIT - Incorrect support for COFF files?
Hey Lang and Stefan, Using dllimport on my “planschiValue” actually worked! But I have no idea why, because the relocation is still a REL32 if I use dumpbin… So how is it possible for that to work? However… when I load an COFF object file, am I able to change the relocations to dllimport somehow? I honestly can’t imagine how this would work since the machine code is probably already adjusted to
