are there any instructions or tests i can make to check the sieve configuration? or does the magic all happen internally and there are no settings to change? Vacation message functionality
Hi, Since I will soon be attempting to get this working on one of my client's systems, I posed a question on the postfix list - since they mostly dislike vacation messages - but *ardent haters* of badly configured vacation message systems - as to the quality of the dovecot vacation message function. The only response I got did seem to have a few very good suggestions for additional

Also, please provide an example scenario; i.e., for one problematic delivery provide: - The values of the variables substituted in the dovecot-lda command line; i.e., provide that command line. - The incoming e-mail message. Vacation use different SMTP server
Is Pigeonhole really using LDA for sending? My Dovecot is using LMTP, not LDA. Could you send your configuration (output from `dovecot -n`)? Also, please provide an example scenario; i.e., for one problematic delivery provide: - The values of the variables substituted below. - The incoming e-mail message. - The Sieve script (or at least that vacation command). LDA + Postfix + LDAP + Sieve (Vacation): Wrong Domain in Reply
Hello everyone. I'm running dovecot (1.2.9) with postfix (2.7.0) on an ubuntu 10.04.1. I'm hosting mail for several domains and using the dovecot local delivery agent. Everything has been working great. However, today I set up a sieve script to send out-of-office replies (vacation) for one of our users. I tested it and got the response just fine. However, when looking at the

Deliverm, vpopmail, and valias
I'm in the final stages of testing my e-mail server to come and I seem to have hit a roadblock. One option of current vpopmail is to store all aliases in a valias table, that looks like this: +-------------+----------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra | +-------------+----------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | alias | char(32) |

sieve & vacation - ignores "days" parameter
Hi, I am going further with dovecot configuration. Finally managed to configure roundcube 0.3 with managesieve plugin. And it works, although... not perfectly :( For some issues probably roundcube-managesieve is guilty, but simply the sieve plugins seems to work wrong. Here is my sieve file: require ["vacation","fileinto"]; # rule:[wakacje] if anyof (true) {

Hello, i'm trying to do some delivery notification for each incoming address. Problem is that sieve vacation has :days but minimum value is 1 eg period in which addresses are kept and are not responded to - but that is not that i want. Is there other extension (in devel ???) or some other way (lda using procmail or maildrop) how to implement my request ? (Before migration we used qmail +

sieve vacation alias handling problem
Hi, I am using Dovecot LDA as LMTP renders envelope extension unusable. The problem I have noticed is that when user has multiple aliases sieve responds to all of them, not only to :addresses specified. >From testing it seems that :addresses only adds addresses to the list of "known" emails to check against. It is not limiting it. As I understand, sieve should check if To: header
