POP +OK CR LF Question
HI. I just finished installing a new mail server running CentOS Ver 4. and I am running sendmail with devecot 0.99.11. Everything is working fine except for a customer of mine is using a tool that does pop requests. And his tool is failing waiting on a CR LF in the +OK. I did a small hex dump of my old pop and the dovecot pop and he is right. Docevot POP does not end its +OK with a CR LF. I

RC10 errors
I just installed a limited test of RC10 last night. So far, all is great except for errors being logged for one user (out of about 150 users total). This one user has not yet complained or anything, but the log file has repeated entries of the following format for him (host and username changed to protect the guilty/innocent): Oct 24 06:13:02 mail dovecot: IMAP(username): file

my.cnf reading support in MySQL backend
I hope this ml is the right place to send this... Anyway, I'd very much like for the MySQL backend to call mysql_options, so that it'll read the settings defined in MySQL's my.cnf under the [client] section. This allows to set a whole slew of MySQL specific settings for the MySQL connection, for example to enable the compressed protocol, set charsets, enable SSL client verification,

verbose imap logging
Implements more verbose imap logging (when client exits). Similar to existing logging in POP3. Due to the nature of imap and my incomplete understanding (of the dovecot code) the session statistics reported have varying accuracy. Much better than nothing IMO. Logs problem of queue_log-mysql
Hello! I'm trying to registers events of queues in /var/log/asterisk/queue_log and Mysql database .I have configured realtime queue_log on MySQL and works well, but /var/log/asterisk/queue_log file is empty, since you're not registering events of queues. Removing extconfig.conf configurations (queue_log => mysql, general), /var/log/asterisk/queue_log works well, events logs on

Problems/Modifications compiling SAMBA 2.2-alpha1 on SCO Openserver 5.0.5a
Hello, after one small modification I was able to compile samba. I have not yet tried to use it, but at least swat is working. It would be nice if anyone could modify the current code to resolve the specified problems. Shift count warning messages
Jean-Marc, I dug into this further, and found that the warning occurred when PSHR32 had a shift greater than 15. in fixed_generic.h, PSHR32 is defined as: #define PSHR32(a,shift) (SHR32((a)+((1<<((shift))>>1)),shift)) For 16-bit compilers the "1" needs a cast: #define PSHR32(a,shift) (SHR32((a)+((EXTEND32(1)<<((shift))>>1)),shift)) This change fixed the

hurdle, simulated power
Hi all-- We are planning an intervention study for adolescent alcohol use, and I am planning to use simulations based on a hurdle model (using the hurdle() function in package pscl) for sample size estimation. The simulation code and power code are below -- note that at the moment the "power" code is just returning the coefficients, as something isn't working quite right. The

vertical lines in R plot
Dear All, May I seek your suggestion on a simple issue. I want to draw vertical lines at some positions in the following R plot. To be more specific, I wish to draw vertical lines at d=c(5.0,5.5,6) and they should go till p=c(0.12,0.60,0.20) . I haven't found any way out, though made several attempts. Please run the following commands first if you are interested in!

Shift count warning messages
I looked back at my old C55 EC build, and I had the same warning in mdf.c which Mike found. The assembly code did have a valid shift, and this build did cancel echo. When I built with the SVN head, I saw the errors in kiss_fft.c also. The assembly there also has valid shifts. So, I suspect that these warnings do not indicate a real problem. It might be interesting to break down the

Minimizing Computational Time
Dear R-users, May I seek some suggestions from you. I have a long programme written in R with several 'for' loops inside. I just want to get them out by any elegant way (if there is!) to reduce the computational time of the main programme. For instance, is there any smart way for the following programme that will lessen time?
