Time moving backwards error
I'm running dovecot on an OpenBSD 3.7 server and after upgrading to
RC25, the daemon started exiting with:
Fatal: Time just moved backwards (1173221579 -> 1173221578)! This
might cause a lot of problems, so I'll just kill myself now.
After upgrading to RC26, I've gotten the error:
Error: Time just moved backwards by 1 seconds. I'll sleep now until

1.0-test78

Fixes:
- Crashes in non-x86 64bit systems
- Bugs in cache file header caching (you probably should delete all
dovecot.index.cache files to be sure the bug won't haunt you in future)
- FETCH ENVELOPE patch by Chris Wakelin (I'll try to figure out what
to do with the list patch later)
Known bugs left:

Outlook express confusion
Hi,
This may be a problem with my config file but I am finding that
customers (and more importantly my boss) that are using outlook express
when using test66/67 (upgraded from test60 + from address patch) are
having message reappear after being fully deleted (not just marked) but
are unreadable, sometimes blank headers appear too but again no message.
Since it is affecting my boss he has told me

1.0-test67
http://dovecot.org/test/
Hopefully better release than last one. Fixes several problems test66
had and also some older problems reported in this list.
It also contains a pretty large mbox code cleanup, fixing several
problems (especially related to X-IMAP/X-IMAPbase headers) and making it
a bit faster. Maybe I'll backport it to 1.0-stable too when it looks
like it's stable..
BTW. mbox

sysctl -p at startup?
I understand that the contents of /etc/sysctl.conf should be read and executed at system startup. However that never happens and I have to run sysctl -p after every reboot to get the settings I want.
This is happening on every CentOS machine and VM I have. I can see in the startup scripts that "sysctl -e -p /etc/sysctl.conf >/dev/null 2>&1"
is run at start up by the

Kernel panic after update to 6.4
After successfully updating three CentOS 6.3 VM guests to 6.4 I decided to update the host as well. And it failed to boot.
Kernel panic - Not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Pid: 1, comm: init not tainted: 2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.x86_64 #1
Plus a call trace I couldn't see
Luckily I was able to boot from the previous kernel and get my system back up. After booting to the previous kernel I

1.0-test66
http://dovecot.org/test/
I've still lots of mails in my INBOX and in this list that I should be
looking into.. But here's a release that fixes at least some things.
Maybe I'll make another one tomorrow..
Most importantly keyword code was changed a lot. It's now faster and
less buggy. The keywords are also finally written into mbox, and keyword
changes in the mbox are picked up.

Error: Mongrel timed out this thread: too many open files
I just switched to Mongrel, and it''s been working much better than my
previous lighttpd/fastcgi setup. So thanks for the awesomeness.
My current problem: once or twice an hour, I get following error in
production
Mongrel timed out this thread: too many open files
I never get it in testing or on our staging server. Any ideas what would
cause that? It doesn''t *appear*

I am seeing these lines for each domain in the systemd journal:

SGI XFS 1.0.2a, ACLs and samba 2.2.3a with win2k perms
Hi,
I haven't been able to find any doco that explicity states whether it is
supported, so I am hoping someone out there can answer the following
questions:
Is it possible for a folder/file in a samba share to have win2k security
permissions assigned to it? For example, I want my samba server to
participate in an existing Win2k domain. I want users to be able to set
their own
