Dovecot 2.0 and QUOTA capability
Hello,
In Dovecot 2.0 the QUOTA capability is not announced until after the user has logged in. This breaks quota-support in some webmail clients (Roundcube, Atmail, probably more).
After searching the lists, I see that this was fixed as a bug back in 1.0, but I guess it crept back in. :-)

dsync convert Maildir -> mdbox, separators in subscriptions file
Hello,
I'm playing around with Dovecot 2.0 beta 4.
If I use dsync to convert a users mail stored in Maildir format to mdbox format, the subscriptions file in the new mdbox is created using the wrong mailbox separator ('.') leading to folders within folders not being readable by clients using the subscription feature.
Excerpt from IMAP:

apple mail, and mails marked as deleted
hi,
is this a feature or a bug in conjunction with apple mail. i usually
use the feature in imap to not delete the emails, but only mark them as
deleted, which is a very usefull feature if you use a emailbox with
more people accessing it. Im now trying an SME server installation with
dovecot 0.99.10, and when i delete a message, it gets marked as
deletet, but as soon as i change the mailbox

Legend in xyplot two columns
Dear R-Help
I have some trouble to set the legend in a xyplot into two rows.
The code below gives me the legend in the layout I am looking for, I
just rather have it in two rows.
library(lattice)
schluessel <- list(
points=list( col="red", pch=19, cex=0.5 ),
text=list(lab="John"),
lines=list(col="blue"),

XP gives Access denied for domain logon
Samba 3.0.2a-Debian
I have a somewhat working PDC server, but have some difficulties adding
more users. I managed to create a user, anna, a couple of days ago, it
she works fine from my wireless laptop.
To sort out some problems I have with the logon.bat script [see
sambalist "Netlogon script executes randomly"], I am also including my
desktop computer to the domain.

[Bridge] Bridging a wireless/wired LAN and a PPPoE connection

I'm trying out bridging for my wireless and wired LAN, so that they can
both use my PPPoE connection. Here's the network structure, pretty easy:

(mtu 1500) (mtu 1500)

Outlook 2010 woes
So after several days of more troubleshooting, I have some things to
report to the list.
First and foremost, I have discovered that the issue has nothing to do
with SSL/TLS, which was my earlier suspicion because after doing some
PCAPs I discovered that the transactions were negotiating TLS 1.2 on the
new server, as opposed to 1.0 on the old.
Also thank you for the rawlog suggestion: that

iPhone 1.1.1 problems.
I'm having problems with the iPhone client in the 1.1.1 version of the
iPhone software. Things with other clients work fine, and the iPhone
worked fine before it was upgraded to 1.1.1. Other phones on 1.1.1
failed. I'm still working on testing against the client with the
iPhone 1.0.2 software on it.
The problem is that the client simply doesn't connect to dovecot. I

Getting stats for logged in domain users?

Hi, I'm setting up a samba server for one of our branch offices.
During the monitoring of the server I'd like to be able to view how many
domain users, and which ones, are logged in on the domain at particular
times. The users use WinXP.
Is there any way of getting number of logged on domainusers, their IP's

Updated status on UEFI compliant version of the pxechn-module
Hi,
Ok, when can we then anticipate pxe-chaining to be possible with syslinux under the UEFI architecture? Are there any plans to implement both correct interfacing to UEFI as well as the issue of arbitrary UEFI images? Haven't tried to read the UEFI-specification as it is sub 3000-pages long, so I am a bit in the dark as to the changes in architecture from BIOS to UEFI. It has been
