VFS shadowcopy2 with FeeBSD & ZFS
Hi,
I have a FreeBSD 12.1 system with Samba 4.11.8 using ZFS and I want to get shadow copies working, however the clients (Windows 10) don't show anything in the 'previous versions' tab. I think it's doing something as it say 'working' for a short amount of time. Also if I crank up vfs debugging to 10 I get:

lmtp multiple recipients fail
Hello,
I am having a problem with the lmtp delivery of mail addressed to
multiple recipients. ?The first recipient receives the mail correctly
but the next recipients do not. ?ltmp apparently tries to create a
link from the subsequent recipients' mail store to the first recipient
mail store and fails. This returns 451 smtp codes to the sender which
then resends at some later time. Please see

Quota support Samba 3.x and Solaris 9
Hi all,
I am a bit confused about whether or not quota support
is available in Samba 3.x under Solaris 9.
I start configure with the options --with-quotas
and --with-sys-quotas, but this results in the error:

Several issues with 1.0-stable
All,
We have Dovecot 1.0-stable deployed in our 3000 users environment as of
last weekend. Up untill now, I have 3 issues:
- When stopping Dovecot with: kill -TERM `cat /var/run/dovecot/master.pid`,
the 'dovecot' process itself dies, the 'imap-login' processes die, but the
'imap'
processes (there are a lot of them) don't die, but become a zombie. I
think the

Disallow creation of (sub) folders
Hi.
Is there a way to prevent users from creating new mailboxes?
In our setup, we've several standard mailboxes (maildir format).
Users should use these and only these.
I allready tried to chown the base directory, e.g.
/var/mailstore/r/remy/, to root, and delivery still works then,
but procmail chown's this back to the users' name. I have a
workaround by using symlinks, but I think

PDC migration: printing trouble.
Hi all,
we've been moving an old Samba 2.2.x PDC install to a Samba 3.0.28 PDC
install. We copied the ntdrivers.tdb and ntprinters.tdb from to old to the new
server. After the migration, everything was just fine, except printing seemed
to be somewhat slower. As more and more user logged on, the machine got really
sluggish and printing took quite long. We figured out we've got bitten

More info on: Solaris 9 + quota = configure script error?
See the mail below, I sent yesterday.
When changing the text '*solaris*' in the configure script to
'solaris*', the configure and make is going just fine. In other
words: the file include/config.h contains a define for SUNOS5
I don't wanna be a smart-ass, but looking at other packages which
use the configure script style configuration, they mostly use 'solaris*'

Samba 3.2.1 not detecting interface in Solaris 10 x86
Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of testing Samba 3.2.1.x compiled for
Solaris 10 x86, because there are some issues I have found with the
default Sun supported 3.0.28a that I am trying to resolve.
In the process of attempting to run up 3.2.1.x, I have found that when
I issue an /opt/local/sbin/smbd -D, my samba log file results in:

Sorry, I should have written 'Samba member server' instead of 'client', although technically speaking, the member server is an AD client.
