Bug?
Hi, Been using Dovecot for a few weeks now, must say it's very good.. I've been looking for a 'drop in' replacement for UWImap for ages! :) but just recently It's been giving me a few problem, I haven't tracked down exactly what causes the problem yet (I'm using Apple Mail on OS X 10.2.6) but after a good mail session it keep trying to log in over and over again..

Dovecot crashes on certain spam messages
Dovecot crashes. I think it's because of some message in my spam folder. It has happened once before, and that time I solved it by deleting that folder. It happens when I start gnus ("Checking messages in folder spam" or something like that), which makes gnus just stop, or when I try to enter that folder in mutt. imap failed asssert in imap-bodystructure.c
I'm running Dovecot on a Debian system which recently has been failing on an assert(). I have a spam mailbox that if I try and open (from any client), the imap process dies and this is written to the error logs: Dec 21 18:57:11 theronge imap(mronge): file imap-bodystructure.c: line 278 (part_parse_headers): assertion failed: (part->physical_pos >= input->v_offset -

those assertions
Hi, I did a bit of digging into the assertions from mbox-rewrite.c (hdr_parsed_size.physical_size == hdr_size). Every time it happens, hdr_size is 0, while hdr_parsed_size.physical_size is non-zero (presumably the correct value). Does this help track it down? I can't manage to get hold of an mbox that causes this though. Another infrequent assertion that's popped up: file

svn access for libao patches
Hello, Can I get svn access for applying some libao patches? It seems that nobody maintains libao currently. This is really bad because there are many projects out wich using it. BTW: Not all kind of apps need all available audio controlling settings. My current plans: 1. extending ao_pulse for controlling prebuffering and latency 2. later extending libao api with volume control (softvol). 3. I

installation problems
Hi, I installed R-2.4.0 and R-2.4.1 on linux redhat (RHEL 3.0), and am encountering the following messages below. I searched the R FAQs and over the net, but couldn't find helpful information. When I "check-all" I do see some diff's (e.g., for "stats", nls.Rout and nls.Rout.save in tests/stats.Rcheck/tests; "cluster"; and "rpart'). I don't know

Migrating existing local Maildir structure to dovecot server Maildir
Hello, I'm about to migrate a number of existing users who have been using POP3 with emails stored locally in KMail's Maildir format into an IMAP solution based on Dovecot. Will it be possible to simply move all the KDE Maildir folders from the local PCs to the Maildir folder on the IMAP server running Dovecot and then have the emails accessible on the server, or will this most likely

speeding up "sum of squared differences" calculation
All, I am using a sum of squared differences in the objective function of an optimization problem I am doing and I have managed to speed it up using the outer function versus the nested for loops, but my suspicion is that the calculation could be done even quicker. Please see the code below for a simple example. If anyone can point out a faster way I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks, Roger

xen livecd for dummies?
i like to try out xen, want to build a server running multiple server on it. for example, one vm running firewall, one vm for hosting web and mail, etc... but it seems too complicated for newbies. very new to virtual machine. and also new to linux. i''m hoping (request?) someone build a minimal live cd with xen configured and ready to ''boot'' any other os from .iso

[LLVMdev] Compiling Skir failure
Hi all, I'm a total noob with llvm and trying to get Skir running with llvm. I just checked out Skir project from guthub. Tried to compile it but failed. Is there any instructions on how to compile it properly? Also, it seems that Skir's last update was nine months ago. Is it still ok to use it with the current branch? Thanks. Cheers, Faizol -------------- next part

CentOS 7 Manual Install
I am following the instructions from the CentOS website to manually install CentOS 7 (http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/ManualInstall) but the guide seems to have some quality issues. I've partitioned the storage fine and now onto setting up RPM. Unfortunately I am at a loss on how to do this. I am doing this on VMware Workstation 10 and the host OS is Ubuntu 14.04. Thanks Parvez

bridging - Didn't get a frame from channel
Hi, I am having a difficulty with getting two realtime user?s to bridge on answer. I have managed successfully to bridge the same two users/channels via the Bridge Manager api command and confirm that the two communicate directly bypassing the asterisk server (I confirmed this with Wireshark). Does anyone have some ideas? I have put some log entries below. I haven?t attached my

help with zoo
Hi, I am interested in decomposing a time series and getting the trend, seasonal and?irregular variations, as one can get with the "stl" command. My time series is fairly regular, but it has some breaks. From the zoo manual, I gather that it should be possible to convert it to a regular time series and then fill the NA entries by interpolation. I am not able to proceed beyond a certain

Hi, Two cores over the weekend, same assert message in syslog: imap(user): file message-body-search.c: line 393 (message_body_search_ctx): assertion failed: (input->v_offset <= part->physical_pos) Setup: Solaris 9, imap usage only, mbox format, dovecot compiled with gcc 4.0.1. gdb sessions of the two core files attached. Let me know if you need further analysis of the cores.

dovecot rc7 assert, core
Hi, Wow, I haven't had an assert/core in dovecot in a long time. Here goes: Setup: Solaris 10, dovecot built with gcc 4.1.1, imap and imaps only. User's home directory lives on a ZFS filesystem, but I don't think that makes a difference. So does every other user here (>3K). Assert: IMAP(mulepri): file message-body-search.c: line 393 (message_body_search_ctx): assertion failed:

1.0alpha1: new assert/core
Hi, I saw a new assert and core dump today in 1.0alpha1. Setup is Solaris 9, dovecot built with gcc 4.0.1, running as imap server for mbox format. The syslog said: IMAP(user): file message-body-search.c: line 393 (message_body_search_ctx): assertion failed: (input->v_offset <= part->physical_pos) A gdb analysis of the core dump is attached. BTW, I save core dumps in case you need
