1.0-test7
http://dovecot.org/test/ Lots of bugfixes related to syncing. There's still some left. Somewhat working mbox support: - combined syncing/rewriting uses much less disk I/O than with older mbox code - expunges aren't working yet - last-uid field in X-IMAPbase header isn't updated - it's currently syncing the whole mbox constantly even if it hasn't changed - it

winbind not returning uid/gid
Really sorry to re-post but it looks like my thread has been buried and had no responses. I am using samba3.6 winbind to connect a RHEL5.8 linux box to a new Windows Server 2012 Active Directory which has Unix Identity Mapping installed. So I have all the uidNumber/gidNumber stuff in the windows schema. I am able to log in but I am not getting the right uid/gid. My AD uids start at around 800.

1.0-test38
http://dovecot.org/test/ - Recent flag fixes - saving/copying mails into maildir which didn't have index files was broken - output stream fix - pop3 crashfix - mbox_dirty_syncs fixes, also disabling it didn't work before - etc. There are still some crashes and I don't remember if I fixed a problem with mboxes where expunging mails while new mails were coming caused some

1.0-test68 released
http://dovecot.org/test/ Recommended update, has had a lot of testing today. No new big features. Changes: - LDAP authentication should work finally? - Some header lookup fixes that should fix sort/threading issues - Don't crash with 0-byte size mboxes - Transaction log fixes. Also rotate .log file to .log.2 file, allowing more history and less "transaction log file lost"

Multithreaded encoding?
I'm not aware of any other attempts, and there have never been official plans. It's difficult to partition input for opus at anything other than the track level, because of the way the decoder derives its adaptive state from recently-seen audio. I guess cutting together streams with at least an 80ms overlap wouldn't glitch too much? You could probably do something to try different

Multithreaded encoding?
I am interested in being able to encode a single Opus stream using several CPU cores. I get a raw audio input and "opusenc" can transcode it at 1200% speed (Raspberry PI 3B+). It saturates a single CPU core, but the other three are idle. Is out there any project to add multithreading options to "opusenc", or something in that line? Looking around, I have found this:

1.0-test30
http://dovecot.org/test/ Mostly just fixes. Fixed some crashes with cache file. Fixed "randomly" occuring mbox parsing problem. Namespace handling was pretty much rewritten. Non-hidden namespaces will also show up in LIST replies now, so if you have eg.: namespace private { prefix = mboxes location = mbox:~/mail } Then clients would show "mboxes" as normal folder.

Dovecot-1.0-test32 fails with assertion
Hello, dovecot-1.0-test32 continuously fails on one of our customers mboxes with the following error: Sep 11 16:27:15 web dovecot: POP3(xxxxxxxxxxxxx.de1): file mbox-sync-rewrite.c: line 360 (mbox_sync_read_and_move): assertion failed: (need_space == -mails[idx].space) About 200 other mboxes are working perfectly on the same server. Where should I start looking for the cause of this?

1.0-test47
http://dovecot.org/test/ Been a while since last release. Still seems there are some mbox problems, but I haven't been able to break anything for last few days. I guess it's stable enough. At least more stable than test46 which crashed quite often when expunging. - pretty much rewrote "index extension" support. it's now possible to add extensions to headers and to

1.0-test17
http://dovecot.org/test/ Just mbox fixes since 1.0-test16. The logic is simpler and more correct now. Can anyone break it anymore? I actually tested it a while with Evolution and several mailboxes and it didn't break at least immediately. :) Now maybe a few more days and I dare trying this thing myself with my real mboxes (yes, I'm still using them). Dovecot mailing list archives could

Dovecot-2.1.14 - pop3 processes always hangs forever - another follow-up
Hello, With the same basic configs as in my previous messages, I tried with the maildir format instead of the mbox format. That is, in both cases ("virtual" uids/gids vs a single "real" uid/gid), doveconf -n shows: mail_location = maildir:~/maildir instead of: mail_location = mbox:~/mboxes:INBOX=~/mboxes/inbox Here too, with "virtual" uids/gids, connections thru
