[PATCH] move highest_fd calculations to ioloop-select.c
Hello, ioloop->highest_fd is used by ioloop-select.c only, so its handling can be moved out of generic ioloop code. Attached patch (agains -test35) does exactly this. Please consider applying. [PATCH] pass struct io * to io_loop_handle_add()/io_loop_handle_remove()
Hello, currently I'm working on new ioloop handler which uses epoll(4) API introduced in Linux kernel 2.6. In this API each fd added to fd set by epoll_ctl system call can be accompanied with user supplied data (integer or void pointer). epoll_wait syscall reports arrived events as an array of structures containing event mask and user data. Attached patch replaces fd and condition parameters

ioloop-select bug in alpha 4
Howdy, Forgive me if this issue has been more recently addressed in CVS, but a quick scan of the archives didn't turn up any other reports. why does dovecot child die on these messages?
Hi Timo and other dovecot fans, why, when I'm trying to read certain "Drafts" emails that I just created, or edited, do the dovecot children die (or so I think). In mutt, the behaviour is that I "c =Drafts" then select the email and I get "connection closed to squeaky.rubberduck.com". In Mail.app - she just loops, trying to read those headers again and again

Noise on FXS ports (Sangoma)
Hi: I have a Sangoma A200 card installed in a server with two FXO modules and one FXS module. Analog sets connected to the FXS module have a "squeaky static" -- it's like static mixed with the sound of someone vigorously cleaning a window a few doors down. In other words, it's not a classic static noise, but it is noise, and it's distracting. Remote callers can hear this

A new era in Radio! Don't miss The Experimental Beat! (fwd)
Hello, Excuse the blatent self-promotion and certain degree of off-topicness, but I thought people here might find this of interest. We just recorded a radio show using Fideliphone (www.fideliphone.com) which uses CELT. Not sure exactly which version but the most recent release of Fideliphone was in May so it's probably not the most recent version. Anyway it performed beautifully! I

Current Debian unstable has a broken libm?
I made the mistake of upgrading my primary development machine last night... The libc/libm in the current debian appear to be somewhat broken. Compiling with -O2 and linking aginst libc/m 2.1.2 yields a broken executable; it appears that calls to libm (specifically log() and fabs()) with a perfectly valid input argument result in a garbage return. I don't know for certain what part of

Bringing Notes 4.5 server live...
Hi All, I have installed Wine 1 on Gentoo under OpenVZ, and have winecgf appearing nicely on my desktop. I have an old notes 4.5 server which is still doing what I want, hosted until recently under Win2K. I thought I'd virtualise it and turn off the hardware for good. I have long since lost/binned the install disks, so I built a squeaky new Win2K installtion and applied SP4. I copied the

UIDL conversion courier -> dovecot
I've got a weird split setup where POP3 is currently handled by Courier (courier-imap-3.0.2 distribution), and IMAP is currently handled by the RHEL 5 version of Dovecot (1.0.7) I'm trying to figure out a way to convert the POP3 UIDLs (in cases where the courierpop3dsizelist is newer than dovecot-uidlist, at least) to something that Dovecot will read, or to configure Dovecot's pop3 to

PRI Errors (HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel)
UPDATE. The circuit has run clean since the 7th. It seems the telco found a problem after all but they can't tell me what they did... cause they think it was fixed as part of another case. Grrr. Well, I never doubted the T400P too much but I went ahead and bought a different card just in case. Haven't had to use it so far. One of the biggest reasons I did not think the Wildcard was at

[LLVMdev] compiler-rt CMake build
The trouble is that the sanitizer tests are not really compiler-rt tests. The original compiler-rt tests are, but not the sanitizer tests. The sanitizer tests are "compiler-rt tests via clang". The sanitizer runtime is a C++ library requiring only a C++ compiler to build it (and to *unit* test it). The ASan lit tests, however, require clang, because they are testing those C++

Hi, I am using dovcot on a Fritz!Box (Linux fritz 2.6.19.2 #1 Fri Apr 18 16:00:34 CEST 2008 mips unknown) And after upgrading from 1.0.9 to 1.0.15 I am getting above assertion, when I do some action like moving or deleting on the IMAP mail box using MailDir on ext2 fs. I use --with-ioloop=epoll and --with-mem-align=4 as build configuration. For dovecof configuration see below details. Thanks

[PATCH] Better detection for ioloop and notify
Hi List! Attached is a patch to configure.in to test that epoll, poll, inotify, kqueue and dnotify actually work. It also attempts to select the best one for you if none specified. This supercedes my previous patch in the re beta9 thread. Hopefully get this in Gentoo's beta9 ebuild soon. Thanks -- Roy Marples <uberlord@gentoo.org> Gentoo/Linux Developer (baselayout, networking)
