Problem with configure.in in dovecot-stable CVS
I am having trouble with using dovecot-stable from CVS. I get the
following error when running autogen.sh:
configure.in: 4: required file `./[config.h].in' not found
I see the config.h.in file in the root dir, but I cannot figure out what
the brackets are for. If I modify the file and remove the brackets, it
works properly and I can compile dovecot.
What are the brackets in the name for?

Serve list archives by dovecot IMAP
Has anyone considered setting up a Dovecot public server to serve the list
archives by IMAP? Or does Dovecot not do anonymous read-only access?
(I note by comparison that the Cyrusoft Mulberry list archives are served
by an IMAP server. <http://www.cyrusoft.com/mulberry/support/anonimap.html>)
It should be sufficient to set up Dovecot on some server in the dovecot.org
domain and

Multiple Mailstores using 1.0alpha4
I am using qmail-ldap to provide virtual users to my system, but I also
have some shell users on the system as well.
Virtual users go into /home/vmail/mailstore/$username/
System users go into /home/$username/Maildir
How can I have both of these available as inboxes in dovecot using ldap
logins?
Do I need to use namespaces or am i missing something with
default_mail_env?
Thanks,

LDAP schema for mailLocation?
Hi,
I would like to try implementing user specific default_mail_env's as described
here:
http://wiki.dovecot.org/moin.cgi/MailLocation
using the LDAP attribute 'mailLocation'.
However, I have been unable to find any LDAP schema which contains
mailLocation. What schema is this attribute part of?
Thanks,

Whatever happened to rc8?
It sounded like there was going to be one, so that some of the fixes
that didn't make it into rc7 could be easily tested before releasing 1.0?

dovecot with sendmail
Hello,
Here is an issue.
I am trying to make dovecot work with sendmail
If I use the default conf file (default_mail_env = ) then the inbox is the
file /var/mail/user and a mail folder is created in /home/user directory
where it stores all additional imap folders.
The problem with this is that I can?t have subfolders.
If I edit dovecot.conf file and enter
default_mail_env =

Dovecot username mapping
Ok, here's my situation. I currently run IMail 7.x with about 80 domains
and nearly 4000 users.
I want to switch this to a Linux server.
I'm using Virtualmin to manage the users/postfix.
I have dovecot working just peachy with the setup, except for one
problem. We are an ISP. The easiest thing for us (and our users) is to
have them use their full email address as their username.

Postfix with Deliver (LDA) - user unknown
Good Day All! I am attempting to configure deliver as our LDA. I am
also configuring the server to use Postfix instead of Sendmail. I
have followed the all the documentation and examples I could find.
Below are my Dovecot and Postfix configs. Can someone please smack me
upside the head and tell me why I am getting "user unknown" errors?
If i don't use deliver as the LDA, all

Definition of "wrapper"?
I think I more or less understand what a ?wrapper? is, but I?d like to hear
how more experienced R users define it, and especially I'd like to know if
there is a formal definition. In my reading, it seems like there are a
fairly wide range of meanings, but they are all conceptually similar.
I've looked in a couple of the classic R texts, the extensions and
developers' manuals, and R

grDevices::convertColor XYZ space is it really xyY?
grDevices::convertColor has arguments 'from' and 'to' which can take on value 'XYZ'. Can someone confirm that 'XYZ' is the same as the CIE chromaticity coordinates that are also sometimes refered to as 'xyY' in the literature? Or are these the CIE tristimulus values? It looks to me like the first case is true, but I would appreciate hearing from one of

Where are usages like "== 2L" documented?
Gurus:
I keep seeing other people?s code that contain ideas like
If (x == 2L)
X[-1L]
X - 1L
I have some idea of what?s going on, but where is the use of concepts like
?2L? documented?
Thanks, Bryan

a few questions about my experience with alpha1
Hi all,
I've just switched from 0.99.10.6 to alpha1 on a Solaris 9 system,
and I have a few questions:
1) I'm using "verbose_proctitle = yes" but I don't see the special
username or IP address information in the output of ps. I've used:
ps -fu dovecot
ps -ef | grep dovecot
/usr/ucb/ps aux | grep dovecot
The process table simply shows the /usr/local/sbin/dovecot,

Lattice Version of grconvertX or variant on panel.text?
Still playing with Lattice...
I want to use panel.text(x, y etc) but with x and y in plot coordinates
(0,1), not user coordinates.
I think if I had this problem with traditional graphics, I could use
grconvertX to make the change. I did come across convertX {grid} but this
doesn't seem to be what I need.
Is there a function like grconvertX in Lattice, or is there a flag or some

Replacing several rows of a matrix at once
Hello Folks. This must be a silly question with a (not) obvious (to me)
answer.
Consider this:
tmp <- matrix(1:200, nrow = 20)
vec <- 300:309
tmp[9,] <- vec # replacing one row works fine
p <- c(3, 11, 17)
tmp[p,] <- vec
# replacing multple rows pastes the values down a column and recycles vec.
What I want to do is replace multiple rows simultaneously at once. I
suppose I can
