1.0-test7
http://dovecot.org/test/ Lots of bugfixes related to syncing. There's still some left. Somewhat working mbox support: - combined syncing/rewriting uses much less disk I/O than with older mbox code - expunges aren't working yet - last-uid field in X-IMAPbase header isn't updated - it's currently syncing the whole mbox constantly even if it hasn't changed - it

[LLVMdev] Loop unrolling a function
The loop rotation pass does modify the function, which I'm guessing means that a FunctionPassManager can be used to run LoopPasses (this is not obvious to me after looking through the FunctionPassManager code). Unfortunately none of the other passes I'm using (ScalarEvolution, LCSSA, IndVarSimplify, and LoopUnroll) appear to have an effect. I verified that the function can be loop

[LLVMdev] Loop unrolling a function
Hi all, I'm attempting to perform loop unrolling on a single function using the C++ API. Maybe I missed something in the docs, but I cannot figure out a way to do this. The function I'm working with is very simple, containing a single for loop and not much else. I compiled the function to IR using clang with no optimizations enabled. My initial plan was to first run the IndVarSimplify

Increased errors "Broken MIME parts" in log file
Hi, after the last upgrade to Dovecot 2.2.24.2 (d066a24) I see an increased number of errors "Broken MIME parts" for users in dovecot log file, here an example: Jun 01 15:25:29 Error: imap(alessio.cecchi at skye.it): Corrupted index cache file /home/domains/skye.it/alessio.cecchi/Maildir/dovecot.index.cache: Broken MIME parts for mail UID 34 in mailbox INBOX: Cached MIME parts

doveadm quota recalc returns a Segmentation fault
Hi, with the latest dovecot-ee version (2.2.25.4 (5cb7c97)) if I run ?doveadm quota recalc -u alessio at skye.it? dovecot return a ?Segmentation fault? (but the quota is update fine). Since dovecot version 2.2.24.3 (55cdc32) works fine. This is my quota backends configuration: plugin { quota = maildir:UserQuota quota2 = dict:Quota Usage::noenforcing:proxy::sqlquota } dict { sqlquota

alternatives to do.call() when namespace is attached but not loaded?
Dear R-devel I have a function in a package that essentially provides a wrapper for a group of functions in another Suggested package (it sets appropriate defaults for the context, transforms output, etc). I've implemented this by verifying that the package was loaded with require(sna) and then do.call(snaFunName, args = args) The rDevel check is requesting that I use

A plugin inside an engine
In Rails 3, is it possible to have a plugin inside an engine? Adding the lib dir of the plugin to autoload_paths doesn''t seem to work. I can manage to load it by adding that path to $: and requiring the init.rb file, but I''m not sure that''s the correct approach. libcurl support and curlGetHeaders warning message in R CMD check
Dear R devel, Is libcurl support required to run R.devel, or is it optional? I'm compiling R.devel on an older Debian machine that only has libcurl version 7.21.0 The R news file says " Sun, 25 Jan 2015 CHANGES IN R-devel NEW FEATURES Optional use of ?libcurl? issues with dev.new avoiding RStudio plot device on unix?
Sorry, should have given more background. x11 works fine on all my systems when called by x11(). I'm the maintainer of a package that uses the animation library, which has performance issues when used with the RStudio plot device. But if you call plot.new() when using RStudio, you get an RStudio device, not the standard device for the platform because it overrides the device option.

Help with dovecot+passwd+pam_mysql
Hi again, I'm on Freebsd 4.x and instead of using the mysql patch, it seems like it would be easier to just use "auth_passdb = pam *" with the pam_mysql drop-in. I'm not really a pam.conf writing expert though. Here's what it currently contains (works for /etc/passwd users) imap auth required pam_unix.so imap account required pam_unix.so

what is the correct way to force a copy of an object?
Dear R-devs, I'm working on a package where we have a function that modifies an Object via .Call to a C function. Unfortunately in some situations this counterintuitive modifies a previously made copy of the object passed to the function. For example, if I first make an assignment to "copy" the object, b<-a and then modify 'a' , the value of 'b' will be

Antw: Re: openssh kills the stty values?
Hi, thanks for your answer. I can reproduce your error in my HP-UX system and solved it ;-)). I built socalled software-depots for distributing the openssh-package and put the start command in the postinstall-script. The shell of this postinstall script has the bahavior that intr ^C won't work properly. So I did your trick with "/sbin/init.d/sshd stop/start" from a shell where ^C

issues with dev.new avoiding RStudio plot device on unix?
Hi R-devl, I'm still unable to force opening an *interactive* non-Rstudio platform-specific plot device on *unix* systems. dev.new() add a new argument 'noRStudioGD' in R 3.1.1. Thank you. It works for me when using RStudio on Windows, but on the unix system it opens a pdf device instead of an interactive device when using an interactive RStudio session (with R_DEFAULT_DEVICE

Question about pre-indexing maildirs
I have a situation with many users and an existing mail delivery agent. Seems like I once saw an imaptest program which I imagine might be used to pre-index maildirs. For example... - remember which users and user maildirs have changed since last pre-index - when system quiet pre-index any maildirs which have had mail delivered and no access by a mail client (using some

Dovecot newbie (migrating from qmail)
Ive been using qmail+vpopmail+courier-imap for many years but its time to retire that server so I thought this might be an opportunity to see how I could use Postfix and Dovecot to provide the same services. Im running Dovecot 2.1.9 and Postfix 2.9.4. I have spent a few days reading through some of the docs on the wiki (there's doesn't seem to be any large overview of Dovecot concepts or

Index abuse
How resilient is Dovecot's indexing mechanism? (seeing as it's been extensively re-vamped I guess this question may have different answers for 0.99 & 1.0). To put it in context, I'm playing with server-side automatic maintenance scripts for things like deleting messages more than x days old from folders a, b, c, etc. (using Maildir layout). So far I'm just zapping files in
