Doubts about chi-square distribution

Extracting variance component estimates from lme
I assume I'm missing something obvious here...
The short form of my main question is: how do I extract variance
components from an lme object?

Missing i_stream_unref in imap_msgpart_crlf_seek()?
Hi,
imap_msgpart_crlf_seek() returns an error stream in case of problems
in message_skip_virtual(). The original input stream is not being
unreferenced, preventing destroy callbacks from being executed.
Shouldn't we have an i_stream_unref(&input) here:
src/lib-imap-storage/imap-msgpart.c:

xtable with \begin{tabular} and only.contents
I have found that I like having my captions and labels in my latex document
rather than having them contained in my xtable output file (I haven't fully
gone to sweave yet). I know I can do something like this by using the
'only.contents' argument in xtable. Unfortunately, the only.contents
argument also removes the \begin{tabular}{rrrrrr} & \end{tabular} (in the
example below) of

getting "small" graphs with Sweave using Rnews.sty
I'm sorry for having to post this, but I can't seem to find any
solutions to this, which seems pretty simple, but then again...

Auto Complete Problems
Hello All,
I''m a RoR newbiew, trying to experiment with Autocomplete, but I''m
having some difficulties. When I start typing in my input box, instead

knitr customization
I am trying to transition from Sweave to knitr, but there are a few
things about customization of the appearence of R input and output that
I did not get yet. Maybe somebody on the list can help me.
In my Sweave presentations I used a slanted font for the R input and a
normal font for the output, both in a small font. I also indented
everything by an extra 2em. All this was achieved by the

Dovecot deliver Segmentation fault when arrive the first message
Hi,
I have found this strange problem. I'm working with Debian 6, dovecot
2.1.9 and vpopmail-auth.
LDA is configured and works fine but the problem is when the first
message arrive "dovecot-lda" return a "Segmentation fault", the message
is written to the user's Mailbox but the message remains, also, in the
queue of qmail (deferral: Segmentation_fault/) and at the
