similar to: UIDPLUS?

My ISP currently runs version 1.2 and I'm looking to make use of UIDPLUS because I want to append and then move the message I've just appended to another folder so then I need the UID in order to address the new message. My ISP says they have plans to upgrade to version 1.4 soon. Do either of these versions support UIDPLUS? ie. give me the new UID as the response to an append?

I saw in the archives that UIDPLUS had been removed from dovecot back in June. Are there any plans to re-implement? I have a Windows/Eudora user that wants UIDPLUS so the client side spam filtering works. Does Dovecot support public folders? I thought it may do via namespaces, but having searched the Wiki and the documentation, I can't find how namespaces are defined. I've probably not looked in the right place - any pointers? Thanks, Keith

We've just converted to LAYOUT=fs. Some users had subfolders under Inbox, and for those users some MUAs no longer show those folders. The directory structure is that the cur, tmp and new folders are in the 'location' directory, but the subfolders are in $location/INBOX/$foldername. They occasionally make requests to have the public folder ACLs changed; for example: "please give user X access to all public folders" (that's nearly 1700 folders). Using Samba 3.0.2a as a PDC, I wanted to add a domain user to the workstation's local 'administrators' group. I logged into the workstation (Win2K) as the local admin, and browsed the domain for usernames.
