v2.2.27 Panic: file rfc822-parser.h: line 23 (rfc822_parser_deinit): assertion failed: (ctx->data <= ctx->end)
After some investigation, it turns out it is non trivial to install dovecot-dbg on debian jessie. Sorry I can't investigate further. Address with whitespace shows as ""@MISSING_DOMAIN
It seems that Dovecot gets confused when presented with a header like: From: someone at somewhere.org i.e. with leading whitespace and no "friendly name" This shows up as ""@MISSING_DOMAIN in clients, such as Pine, that believe what Dovecot tells them rather than parsing the headers themselves (e.g. Thunderbird). Namespaces and subscriptions
I've got a problem with subscriptions in 1.0-stable when migrating from UW-IMAP. I've modified the SUBSCRIPTION_FILE_NAME entries as suggested in the Wiki http://wiki.dovecot.org/Migration and included the "~/mail/" etc. hidden namespaces. The .mailboxlist files contain entries like "~/mail/somefolder" and the clients have "~/mail/" set as a prefix. In

1.0-test58
http://dovecot.org/test/ - Fixed APPEND hanging in some situations. Didn't happen with mail_save_crlf=yes. - Added pop3_uidl_format setting. No need to patch sources anymore if you don't want the default. Does anyone want pop3_uidl_xuidl_header yes/no setting, with fallbacking to pop3_uidl_format if X-UIDL header isn't found? Shouldn't be difficult to do.. - Added

v2.2.27 Panic: file rfc822-parser.h: line 23 (rfc822_parser_deinit): assertion failed: (ctx->data <= ctx->end)
Hi Aki, debian jessie backports has been moved to archive.debian.org and initially I was unable to install dovecot-dbg because of that. But I've managed to resolve that issue now. This was the command I ran: doveadm -D -f flow fetch imap.envelope mailbox crm-spam.2008.g Backtrace follows. Dovecot/doveadm quota
Hello, Is there any reason why dovecot relies on S= instead of real disk size email takes? 1) compressed mails take less than than the S= specified 2) we could avoid using "S=" for the lookups and count every file there, including indexes and mails without S=... if we'd read filesizes Eample: # ls -l '1567026317.M331058P4751.testing.server.com,S=3086,W=3148:2,S' -rw-------

passwd-userdb with args
I'm not sure why the 'passwd' userdb didn't allow args, but it meant (for instance) that the quota plugins weren't usable. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get my new quota-rquotad plugin to work, only to find out that it was my 'quota=rquotad:<filesystem list>' argument that wasn't being passed to the imap child :) The attached patch implements

Greetings, The alpine mail rpm indicates that it comes packaged with configuration files (/etc/pine*conf*). However, they aren't there. Possible? Also, how did you get rid of the annoying alpine bug: a message that keeps flashing - [Folder vulnerable - directory /var/spool/mail must have 1777 protection]? Thanks. Max Pyziur pyz at brama.com
