Dovecot crashes on certain spam messages
Dovecot crashes. I think it's because of some message in my spam folder. It has happened once before, and that time I solved it by deleting that folder. It happens when I start gnus ("Checking messages in folder spam" or something like that), which makes gnus just stop, or when I try to enter that folder in mutt. those assertions
Hi, I did a bit of digging into the assertions from mbox-rewrite.c (hdr_parsed_size.physical_size == hdr_size). Every time it happens, hdr_size is 0, while hdr_parsed_size.physical_size is non-zero (presumably the correct value). Does this help track it down? I can't manage to get hold of an mbox that causes this though. Another infrequent assertion that's popped up: file

Patch for zero content-length
mbox-index.c uses a zero content length as a flag for an invalid Content-Length: header. Unfortunately zero is also a valid value for Content-Length. The patch below attempts to address the problem. *** mbox-index.h.orig Tue Apr 15 09:04:02 2003 --- mbox-index.h Sun Apr 20 11:42:12 2003 *************** *** 19,24 **** --- 19,25 ---- struct istream *input; uoff_t

1.0alpha1: new assert/core
Hi, I saw a new assert and core dump today in 1.0alpha1. Setup is Solaris 9, dovecot built with gcc 4.0.1, running as imap server for mbox format. The syslog said: IMAP(user): file message-body-search.c: line 393 (message_body_search_ctx): assertion failed: (input->v_offset <= part->physical_pos) A gdb analysis of the core dump is attached. BTW, I save core dumps in case you need

dovecot rc7 assert, core
Hi, Wow, I haven't had an assert/core in dovecot in a long time. Here goes: Setup: Solaris 10, dovecot built with gcc 4.1.1, imap and imaps only. User's home directory lives on a ZFS filesystem, but I don't think that makes a difference. So does every other user here (>3K). Assert: IMAP(mulepri): file message-body-search.c: line 393 (message_body_search_ctx): assertion failed:

[PATCH] BTRFS_IOC_TREE_SEARCH: store and use the last key found
Hi all, following the thread about the BTRFS_IOC_TREE_SEARCH ioctl [1], I made a patch which try to address the problem of restarting the ioctl. In the current solution is the application during the restart of the search to fill the min_* fields in the "struct btrfs_ioctl_search_key". In general the values set are the last one returned "+1". But doing so we reduce the

Solaris 10 / 1.1.beta15 imap cores
Hi, I've been using 1.0 but moved to beta to see if it works before release. Both b14 and b15 dies sometimes when accessing folders. Last time I fixed this by moving one message from folder to another and then back. Next I'm trying to build this with debugging enabled. imap segfault in mail-index-sync.c
Our support team seems to have caused another crash. They treat this mailbox like a shared one, so there may be a few people accessing it at once. They are mostly using dovecot, but some could be using uw-imap. These are the only two ways that this box is accessed. I know that this doesn't really work with mbox, but it doesn't appear to corrupt the mailbox. It seems to be a good stress

Making a package CITATION file from BibTeX
Dear Colleagues, I would like to provide a CITATION file for my package nat.nblast [1]. I have the correct citation in BibTeX format [2]. How can I convert this BibTeX to the format needed by R for a package CITATION file (I have a lot of other packages needing citations ...). I think what I need is the opposite of RefManageR::toBiblatex [3]. This seems like it should be a common need, so I
