mutt and dovecot
Hi,
I setup squirrelmail with dovecot and everything worked. I moved users
Maildir directores to ~/Maildir/INBOX.directory/ and updated the
.subscriptions file to something like ^INBOX.directory
squirrelmail picks this up, but I can't seem to get mutt to read this
style. In fact I would have assumed that dovecot would read ~/Maildir/
as INBOX and everything under it as it stands, without

DRAC support?
Hi,
I was hoping someone had a quick and dirty (is there any other
kind) of patch for DRAC support for dovecot.
This daemon is very slick, and I wish to replace my complex
courier-imap setup.
Regards,
C.

did the conversion and something broke
figures. Converted over to maildir today. Procmail is a piece of cake
once I managed to pride out of its cold dead fingers the essential tiny
bit of documentation I needed. But I'm having a problem with my nested
directories. I have a directory called incoming sort my incoming mail.
The conversion utility created a bunch of files called incoming.<stuff>
and 1 file is visible

Postfix and Maildirs
Hope someone can help me with this as I am presently stuck
I am setting up a new server with Dovecot 0.99.10, Redhat 9.0, Postfix,
Amavisd-new and maildir's in the users home drive.
I am using Netscape mail 7.1 as the main client to access the mail store
via imap which works fine and various other imap clients can access the
maildirs Ok as well.
The problem is when Postfix delivers a

dovecot-1.0-test8 / nfs / maildir / flags issues
Hi List,
While (bluntly) testing the prerelease version of dovecot on our
mailfarm (just for the webmail imap) we noticed some small problems:
- While our OLD dovecot/imap drove the load to a maximum of 1 over a
day after running, the new dovecot/imap pushes it easily to 20. This is
mainly due to a LOT more disk activity. This is probably caused by the
fact we a) use indexes on disk and

dovecot (mutt?) tells me I have new email (when I don't)
Hi,
does anyone else, whilst using mutt, have the problem where you read
your new email - then change to another mailbox, *then* mutt tells you
that you have new email in the mailbox you just read!?
It seems to only happen when I:
a) receive email in, say, =mi
b) change to, and read email in =mi
c) hit 'c' to change to next-unread mailbox
d) mutt says "New mail in

why does dovecot child die on these messages?
Hi Timo and other dovecot fans,
why, when I'm trying to read certain "Drafts" emails that I just
created, or edited, do the dovecot children die (or so I think).
In mutt, the behaviour is that I "c =Drafts" then select the email and I
get "connection closed to squeaky.rubberduck.com".
In Mail.app - she just loops, trying to read those headers again and

uid/gid not being used when logging into RHEL -> Windows Server 2012 Active Directory
I am using samba/winbind to connect a RHEL5.8 linux box to a new Windows
Server box which has Unix Identity Mapping installed. So I have all the
uidNumber/gidNumber stuff in the windows schema.
I am able to login but I am not getting the right uid/gid. My AD uids start
at around 800. FYI I am new to winbind. Apparently the ID mapping has
changed again in samba 3.6 but I'm not really

1.0-test14: no sendfile() in Solaris 8
Aloha.
The current CVS snapshot and 1.0-test14 will not build on Solaris 8
because it does not provide a sendfile() funtion. It just has sendfilev().
Solaris 9 has sendfile(), though.
Using the old sendfile-util.c from 1.0-test1 and setting HAVE_SOLARIS_SENDFILEV
instead of HAVE_LINUX_SENDFILE in config.h works.
Greetings,
Andy.

Calculating variances in a moving window
I am trying to create basic descriptive statistics for a spatial dataset
using moving windows of variable sizes.
I found the filter(dataset, rep(1/a,1)) very useful for obtaining
averages for a given moving window size "a"
(a is the window size within a column of data in a matrix - the filter
is applied to all columns automatically)
I could not find anything analogous for

[LLVMdev] Alignments in LLVM IR
Hello,
I am currently writing my Master's Thesis on a topic regarding the analysis of memory safety and termination of LLVM programs. This includes alignments in LLVM IR, but I am not sure if I understand their semantics correctly. I have written a program (see attachment) which uses the instruction
store i32 1, i32* %7, align 4
to store an integer at an address that I forced to be

some questions about log errors
Hello,
I migrated from the release target to the CVS target a few nights back,
as I only use Maildir, and wanted look for improvements.. I am getting
these errors in the maillog, and they keep coming up. I can delete the
indexes, but wonder if it should be updateable by the mail-index
process first?

How to run regressions over increasing time series
Hello,
I would like to run a series of regressions on my data (response variable
over time):
1) regression from T1 to T2
2) regressions from T1 through T3
3) regression from T1 through T4, etc.
I have been struggling to find a way to do this through commands, as
opposed to cutting up the data manually (my dataset has over 6000
rows/observations).
An illustrative dataset can be created thusly:

I am still getting strange creation and mailbox lookups from

.imap.index.log

.INBOX seems to be a reference to ~/Maildir/{cur,new,tmp} yet I

Calculating difference in variable values (e.g. elapsed time) in data frame
Hello,
I have a data frame containing time (e.g. GMT), and I would like to
create/add a new variable that would be the computation of the elapsed
time since the first observation. Does anyone have a suggestion for an
easy way to do this? I am having trouble creating a new variable that
would contain just the first time observation (then I could take

Problems sending more than 2 SMS with asterisk / smsq
When i send more than one messages shortly after the other, my log
(/var/spool/asterisk/sms ) looks like this
and only two of four messages arrive.
What am i doing wrong ?
I am using an AVM B1 PCI with chan-capi and 1.4.4.
and also, when sending with smsq -x only two of the messages are handled.
(i thought, asterisk itself handles the queues ? )
Here the log:
