[PATCH 0/3] misc. cleanup
Hello, some misc. cleanup patches for speexdsp, nothing big I'm not sure about how to submit patches, so this is a test balloon :) ultimately, I'd like to fix the FIXED_POINT issue, see http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/speex-dev/2013-December/008465.html currently, I think the only way to find out how speexdsp has been compiled is to resample some bytes and observe the output; which is

Echo cancellation with different sound card for speaker and microphone
I'm developing an application that have a video conference component. For that I need echo cancellation, and is looking around for algorithms/implementations of that, and the one in speex is an alternative. In the documentation for speex I find the following sentence however. "Using a different soundcard to do the capture and plaback will *not* work, regardless of what you may

Dovecot 0.99.10.4 for Debian
I've packaged 0.99.10.4. Owing to the continued downtime on the Debian servers, I've temporarily put the .debs up on my own site. The URL is http://www.braincells.com/debian/ A backport to woody is also available. -- Jaldhar H. Vyas <jaldhar at debian.org> La Salle Debain - http://www.braincells.com/debian/

debs for 1.0?
Hi, 0.99 is running nicely on my sarges, but I need pop3_uidl_format = %f for Courier compatibility. I can't find any debs more recent than test22 of over a year ago (those are at http://src.braincells.com/dovecot-test/). Even though google turns up http://hemma.tobbe.nu/debian/mini-dinstall/incoming/dovecot_1.0.test46-1_i386.changes searching for dovecot on packages.debian.org (any

1.0-test1 released
http://dovecot.org/test/ I couldn't break this with Evolution with a few minutes of testing, so here's the first tarball release based on the new indexing code. Try if you're interested, but don't try it on any real mailboxes, or at least keep backups :) Also note that dovecot-uidlist file format has changed a bit, Dovecot 0.99.x isn't able to read it anymore. Things to do:

1.0-test2 released
http://dovecot.org/test/ I still haven't done much real world testing, but I've been thinking about all the potential race conditions a lot since last time and fixed a lot of them. There might still be some.. Changes since -test1: - Locking fixes - A lot more difficult to crash it with corrupted index files - Recent flag works, this time exactly as IMAP RFC says - Maildir syncing

two tellabs 2572 echo board in a 253c mounting assembly?
Anyone gotten two of the 2572 echo canceller cards to work in a 253c mounting assembly? I can get one to work, but when I install two, one always fails. I've tried all my cards solo in the enclosure, on each side, and they all work properly when only 1 is installed, however, when I install two, one of them will come up, but the other always fails. Anyone know what might be causing this?

[LLVMdev] Build errors: llvm-gcc 4.3-2.5, x86-64.
From an x86-64 machine, I'm trying to compile llvm and llvm-gcc. I'm using the LLVM 2.5 release, and the associated llvm-gcc tarball. llvm compiles fine; ours is compiled to a Debugging version. llvm-gcc, though, is angry. I get the following error (with path prefixes shortened for convenience) when compiling llvm-gcc: > In file included from

Video compression, edge detection, and gcc warnings
<WARNING: Long message ahead> Well, I have actually done something the past 1 1/2 week. I've created a program that runs several filters over an image to extract edge information. Currently it loads any uncompressed grayscale TGA file, and spits out another uncompressed greyscale TGA file that is 255 at places where there are edges, and 0 where there are not. I managed to get out quite

dovecot not reconnecting to ldap after ldap restart
I upgraded dovecot two weeks ago from 0.99.10-0.rc2 to 0.99.10.4-1woody1 (both from the woody backport packages from braincells.com). Dovecot is using LDAP on a separate machine for authentication. (through stunnel if it matters) At 4:00 am, the LDAP server stops, dumps the ldap database, and then starts back up. Because the LDAP server is stopped, anyone who tries to authenticate during
