Hardlinks in copy
Hi, Dovecotters. In the Maildir code, dovecot-0.99.10/src/lib-storage/index/maildir/maildir-copy.c, I see that hardlinks are used. It seems that (line 185) if MAILDIR_COPY_WITH_HARDLINKS is exported, then copying is attempted by using link. Having problems reading the source / flow of control, I resort to this list. When a file is linked, the mtime is naturally kept on the destination. This

Binc IMAP "IMAPdir" style layout
Hi, I'm in the process of migrating several years worth of mail to be accessible via an IMAP server. Some time ago, I evaluated both Binc IMAP and Dovecot and found Dovecot to be much faster on large folders, which is quite important to me. One thing I did not however manage to determine from the documentation on namespaces is whether or not it is possible to implement what Binc IMAP calls

Password expires every month even though 'Password Must Change' is set to 'never' (Samba+LDAP)
Hi all, Since a few months ago Samba ask each of our users to change password at log on every month and I have not been able to disable it. I found this page and follow the instructions: http://playingwithsid.blogspot.com/2010/12/change-samba-password-expiry-setting.html The default 'Password Must Change' policy was set to never and pdbedit shows 'Password Must Change: never'

AGI answering the channel even though I never asked it to
I am working on a call-back solution where the initiating call should never be answered. I was doing this simply through the dial plan, sending a progress tone, and then dumping the channel, and firing off a DeadAGI which created a call file to make the callback. Now I've tried extending this so that an AGI is fired first to check for things - like no inbound ANI - and play a

[PATCH] pxe: Never chain to the original ISR
The behaviour of default ISRs as provided by the BIOS varies wildly between platforms. Some will simply iret, some will send EOI, some will send EOI and disable the interrupt at the PIC, some will crash the machine due to single-bit errors in the ISR address. When PXENV_UNDI_ISR_IN_START returns PXENV_UNDI_ISR_OUT_NOT_OURS, send the EOI ourselves rather than risking the unpredictable behaviour

AGISTATUS is SUCCESS even though my PHP script returned -1
Hi, Using Asterisk 1.4.17. I'm calling a PHP script through AGI. No matter what my script returns (0 or -1), AGISTATUS always appears to be 0 = SUCCESS. I was wanting my script to be able to return a value to the dialplan and then test AGISTATUS but it looks like I'm going down the wrong path. Any suggestions? Thanks, Brian -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment
