We are starting to see more and more brute force attempts to guess simple passwords "/usr/sbin/inetd -wWl -C 10" is nice for slowing down attempts to services launched via inetd. Browsing in the 2003-September archives, I found out how to start dovecot from inetd (using imap-login instead of imap). Still I've got a few problems.
