test76-77 dies at SIGHUP
Hello people This is on OpenBSD/sparc64. After chickening along with 0.99 for a while, I finally upgraded to 1.0-test. I started out with test73, which worked fine. With the upgrade to test76, I lost the ability to SIGHUP dovecot when I rotated it's logfile. Dovecot would just die abruptly, not a trace in the log. I just upgraded to test77, but the problem is still there. I've put

0.99.6rc3
Well, "release candidate" wasn't really right name for last two versions. Maybe not for this one either, it has a few changes that could potentially break things badly (new hash table code especially). Anyway, seems to work with me. If I don't see any problems with it for a few days it'll be the final. The really great news is that we support threading. A lot of people have

[PATCH v8 01/18] remoteproc: st_slim_rproc: add a slimcore rproc driver
slim core is used as a basis for many IPs in the STi chipsets such as fdma and demux. To avoid duplicating the elf loading code in each device driver a slim rproc driver has been created. This driver is designed to be used by other device drivers such as fdma, or demux whose IP is based around a slim core. The device driver can call slim_rproc_alloc() to allocate a slim rproc and slim_rproc_put()

0.99.6 released
Several bugfixes since 0.99.6rc3. Here's again the change summary since 0.99.5: v0.99.6 2003-01-13 Timo Sirainen <tss at iki.fi> + THREAD=REFERENCES extension support. ORDEREDSUBJECT would be easy to add, but I think it's pretty useless. + SORT is much faster now. + mbox: If ~/mail directory isn't found, create it. + Log login usernames * Some coding style changes

SSH scans vs connection ratelimiting
Gang, For months now, we're all seeing repeated bruteforce attempts on SSH. I've configured my pf install to ratelimit TCP connections to port 22 and to automatically add IP-addresses that connect too fast to a table that's filtered: table <lamers> { } block quick from <lamers> to any pass in quick on $ext_if inet proto tcp from any to ($ext_if) port 22 modulate

Realtime asterisk queues only reload queue members when a new call joins the queue
Hi there, As described on voip-info here http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+RealTime+Queue, if I use realtime queues, alterations to the list of members don't alter until a new call joins the queue. Is there anything I can do about this? I've tried looking for a bug number, but to no avail. I use realtime queue members for logging in and out, and I'd like it to take

Stopping certain users from using IMAP, or POP3, etc.
Hi there, I'm building a mail system for an ISP. We want to be able to turn on or off IMAP or POP3 access for certain customers- basically we want to be able to offer a customer POP3 access, unless they pay us some more money, in which case they get IMAP The username and password will remain the same, and are driven out of a postgres database. The best way I've though of doing this

Driving quota out of a database.
Hi there, I'm using postgres as a userdb for dovecot. I'm am trying to get the quota plugin to work. I have a column in my table that returns the quota in KB. I am using the postgres expression "('maildir:storage=' || mailstore_control.mailbox.quota) AS quota" as recommended in the manuals. This expression is NULL to start with, which I take to mean unlimited

(For example mailbox "sales" and only sales representive have access to it) Mailboxes can be found under /var/vmail/<username>, whereas <username> looks like foo.bar or peter.griffin ;) Now, if I connect via telnet, loggin in as
