[fdo] Updated syncmail script for new CVS loginfo syntax
Hi, If you are getting tired of being teased about updating your syncmail script to the new CVS loginfo syntax, this mail is for you. If you have opted to use the CIA script, you have already switched to the new loginfo format. If not, you need to do now. For that you need to add UseNewInfoFmtStrings=yes to the CVS config file. Then if you have script using the old format you can escape it

status update / cvs repository
Past few weeks went mostly while rewriting small part of code. It really wouldn't have needed to take that long, but I always got really tired after just looking at that code for a few seconds :) Anyway, now messages are parsed in 256kB blocks (maybe I should make it configurable), so large messages don't eat all memory anymore. Maildir support seems to work with the new code, though I

[ANNOUNCE] netfilter/iptables Anonymous CVS has been moved
--88ivsf4xsnd8HFHJ Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi! The anonymous CVS repository for the netfilter/iptables project has been moved. lots of changes in cvs
Hi all, I''ve been spending a lot of time over the past few weeks on RubyTorrent. All the changes are in CVS. Highlights are: - Transfer speeds should be much better, thanks to a better piece selection algorithm, and being more aggressive about dropping boring peers and adding new ones, - Download/upload rate limits now work. - Many bugs fixed. - .torrent creation now

dovecot.procontrol.fi anonymous access fails?
Hi, just started using dovecot on FreeBSD. Nice and easy to configure :-) I then wanted to browse the dovecot mailing list, so, according to http://dovecot.procontrol.fi/mailinglists.html: IMAP archives available from dovecot.procontrol.fi, either use ANONYMOUS authentication or give anonymous as username and empty password. I was using a patched sylpheed that doesn't support

anonymous CVS access to Samba sources
Those of you wishing to follow the Samba source code closely can now get direct read-only access to the Samba source code repository. This means you can see every piece of code we commit to the tree the minute we commit it. I haven't provided this type of access up to now as I couldn't work out how to make it totally safe, so that a malicious user can't gain write access. I've now

CVS pserver upgraded on samba.org
I've just upgrade the CVS pserver running on samba.org. If anyone sees any problems please let me know via email. Luckily we are running the anonymous CVS pserver in a chroot jail which is updated via rsync from the actual repository so the effects of anyone exploiting the bug would be minimal. Tim.

Anonymous cvs access
With Tony Rossini's help we have established anonymous CVS access to a read-only copy of the main R CVS tree at cvs.r-project.org. This would be of interest primarily to those who want to track the development version (and who have access to CVS, of course). To use anonymous cvs you must log in to the server under the name "anoncvs" and with the password "anoncvs". You

[OT] CVS update
Um, I don't remember the exact checkout command line I used, but it was probably something like the instructions on the web page: cvs -d :pserver:cvs@pserver.samba.org:/cvsroot rsync anyway, how do I update? I tried: [chris@lt2 rsync]$ cvs update -d -P cvs [update aborted]: connect to pserver.samba.org(66.70.73.150):2401 failed: Connection refused and login gives the same: [chris@lt2

Anonymous CVS, Snapshot mirrors available
Thanks to the generosity of Rob Hagopian <rob at hagopian.net>, portable OpenSSH now has a public anonymous CVS tree and a mirror of the snapshots on a fast (colocated) machine. The nightly snapshots are now available from: http://bass.directhit.com/openssh_snap/ Please use these instead of the mindrot.org ones (which will be going away soon). imaptest-20130617 seems to be reporting spurious header changes
I'm trying to use this to test an IMAP server I'm developing (I picked the nightly up from the link on the wiki page at http://www.imapwiki.org/ImapTest/Installation). With one client using the mailbox dovecot-crlf (http://www.dovecot.org/tmp/dovecot-crlf) I get messages like: Error: test at npsl.co.uk[67]: 1035253882.5041.34.camel at hurina: Header From changed 'Timo Sirainen
