Its just a simple question I guess:
I have a vector with missing information like
x<-c(0,1,31,131,NA,133,NA,310,NA,112,3,1,2,93)
How can I make a vector like this no missing in it. I used the x[x<0]

build problems on Fedora Core 1
Hello...
I tried to build R-devel today on Fedora Core 1 (with gcc 3.3.2)
but I am running into a couple of errors. On the same system R-1.8.1
compiles just fine, as did a previous version of R-devel.
This is what I did:
# change LANG as default in FC1 is UTF-8
export LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1
export LANGVAR=en_US.ISO8859-1
# get fresh sources and configure
mkdir R-devel
rsync -vrC

R 1.8 for debian
Hello,
I start running into problems with 1.7. due to packages which are only
supported by 1.8., therefore I tried to get 1.8. but synaptic only shows up
with 1.7.. Are there already debian 1.8 packages?
Another question would be, how I can keep all my previously installed
packages.
will they be kept in '/usr/local/lib/R/site-library or does the new R
overwrite these addional packages?

IMAP folder problem
Hi,
I have tried multiple dovecot versions (0.99 and CVS) and I keep
getting the same problem.
I connect to the IMAP server fine using outlook xp, but when I try to create
folders it creates them and then they just disappear. In the Maildir on the
IMAP server the folder are there but they don't show up using a client. I
basically can't do anything with folders, including copying

vpopmail - again
OK, dovecot compiles fine and starts up. I changed the auth_userinfo var to vpopmail, fired up imap-master and tried to login via webmail and my log spits out the following:
imap-login: Nov 26 14:50:50 Error: Can't connect to imap-auth at auth: Connection Refused
imap-login: Nov 26 14:50:51 Error: Can't connect to imap-auth at vpopmail: Connection Refused
Any ideas?

Replacing scaffolds
Hi all,
having a scaffold for a model, I''d like to replace some of the views
that
Rails offers me. When it''s showed the details of a particular model, I''d
like to
show a link to an action of the controller.
What must I do?, Should I create a new show.rhtml view to get the
dafault view
replaced?

BURST and CBURTS on HTB.init 8.3
why the exemple in the htb.init of the BURST e CBURST comes with values if the dafault is computed?
Is it better to put these values manualy?
How can I calculate the values?

State space modelling
Hi, I'm new to R and am trying to implement a state-space model, and do some
simulations looking at how well it works. Does anyone have an example I
could use as a template? I'm having trouble working out where to start, and
haven't been able to find anything similar in the help files or on the web.
My example is a surplus production fisheries model, so something similar to

Re: Bug#175507: dovecot: Accidental denial of service via syslog
This bug was reported to Debian but I feel it is an upstream issue.

I think all of the reported bugs are again fixed in CVS, so I made a
tarball of it. I'd like to hear if there's any problems with it. Here's

elegant way of re-encoding?
hi,
I have a single stream going to my icecast server, encoded in hi-quality
ogg. goal is to serve hi- and low quality ogg and mp3 streams,
re-encoded from the single hi-quality ogg stream.
encoding all from e.g. oddcast simultaniously is not an option.
it would be easier if source-streams would be static and always named
the same .. unfortunately they are not. if so, I could define simple

New btrfs-progs integration branch
I''ve just pushed out a new integration branch to my git repo. This
is purely bugfix patches -- there are no new features in this issue of
the integration branch. I''ve got a stack of about a dozen more patches
with new features in them still to go. I''ll be working on those
tomorrow. As always, there''s minimal testing involved here, but it
does at least compile on
