Bad packet length problem with "aes128-cbc" and openssh3.1p1
Hi,
I am trying to run openssh 3.1p1. But it is giving "Bad packet length" error
when I run sshd with default config file. On further investigation I found
that the error is coming only for the cipher algorithm "aes128-cbc". Also
the error comes only when I don't specify any protocol file
(/usr/local/etc/ssh_host_[rd]sa_key) or specify only "protocol 2" files.

Quicken fonts
I just installed Quicken 2001 using the 0914 version of Wine built from
source code on my Fedora Core 2 machine. I followed the Quicken install
instruction #2 on Franks Corner site. The installation went fine and
everything seems to work well. But some of the fonts are unreadable.
Here is a screen shot of what I am referring to (the problem fonts are
circled):

Windows BMPs: Why grey background? How to display BMP in R?
"white" is supposed to be the default background for BMPs (according to
?bmp) but it doesn't work
> bmp("test.bmp", bg="white")
> plot(0)
> dev.off()
# results in grey background
# This seems to be a good enough workaround for now.
> bmp("test.bmp")
> par(bg="white")
> plot(0)
> dev.off()
# background is white

nouveau: System crashes with NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Hi all,
I'm getting frequent system crashes (every few hours or so) and it seems
that the nouveau driver is causing the issue (dmesg output below). I see it
with both v5.2.8 and the v4.19 LTS kernel. Sometimes the system
completely freezes and sometimes seemingly just the nouveau driver goes
down. The screen freezes and colours stream across it. Often after I
reboot the BIOS logo is mangled
