similar to: connecting linux console using serial port (NOW PPP)

Hi, I have a serial modem connected to /dev/ttyS0 on my CentOS server, I want to set up this server to allow connections through this serial modem but only to the console.... (I want to log in)... All the documentation I've found for that shows using mgetty to do it, and seems pretty straightforward. However, that machine doesn't have a binary named mgetty anywhere. I have a Centos 5.4 machine that has, for the past two weeks, apparently been shut off over the weekend. It's just sitting there turned off on Monday morning and when someone hits the power switch it comes right back on and everything works again. Hello list, I'm getting droped calls on an asterisk installation. When on GS phone dials another one, the call is dropped after some (usually random) time but most of the tome within 3 to 20 seconds.
